Last week I had to do some traveling for work, and go to a trade convention down in Portland, OR. My wife got very down, more than normal (we don't actually like being apart over night). when I got her to talk about what's going on, she was worried I would go to strip clubs or find some "he/she" (her words), dress up and be happy with them and leave her. WOW.
I calmed most of her fears by checking in letting her know what i was doing; kept the web cam on in the hotel room so we could chat into the late hours. it's something she needed, and i needed her to be happy.

Trust is built from open and honest communication and care for the feelings of others. Your approach to this issue was wonderful, you handled the issue perfectly. Good job!

Her fear is a common one for partner's of CDers. Keep giving her lots of reassurance- but it sounds like you know what you're doing.

Glad you found us-
