…what I never expected was to be writing this following post in this, the Transsexual forum:

Tuesday, I go in for my first bra fitting. And, It will be my 4th month on HRT.

In the small world we live in, I made a friend locally from this forum, which all started from a post about finding a trans-friendly stylist in town, who also had fantastic contacts about bra fittings.

Ironic, eh?

This is a huge step forward for me. Size A already, verging on B, thing is, I am in process of losing weight. So the B may go away in favor of an A as I lose. That’s OK. I’m thankful what’s there already.


A bra fitting…ME??? Yes (pinches self), this is really happening.

Michelle, how amazing is that? Fantastic!! To finally start getting some physical congruency to what you've been feeling inside must be an exhilarating moment for you. What a great milestone this is. I cannot yet imagine that, but I hope to sometime soon. I am thrilled for you, and grateful that you shared this huge, private, personal moment with all of us. Yes it is! The mental congruency happened immediately after starting HRT. Now comes time for the physical side. I’m becoming a bit nervous now. Which is good, looking forward to a new milestone in the journey.

Karen—don’t hope for it, do it. Realize it. You’ll be much happier and very glad that you made that decision.
