I woke up this morning to the radio announcers talking about terrible road conditions and driving times two or three times longer than normal. :D It is time for a day off and time for a day of dressing and make up practice.
It has been a barren time recently as my son is back living with me after graduating from university. Yesterday, I had to do some retail therapy even though there was no expectation of being able to wear the clothes anytime soon. A visit to the local Value Village yielded two skirt suits, two skirts, a pair of trousers, and two pairs of shoes. I am going to have most of the clothes dry cleaned before wearing them, but one of the pairs of shoes will be worn today.
If the weather eases up, I will walk to the local drug store to pick up some more make up.
