Should I complain?

We are going to an event this year where fancy dress in the norm, as we have agreed on the theme of Nun's & Monks. I have agreed to go as a Nun, but which option should I push for? I would like to go with the short option, but I think I could get away with the longer option! Should I push for it, or just go with the flow? P.S. I will be wearing bra, panties & tights with either option! ��

Oh boy.....well, if it were me..... I'd want to wear the short one too, but being underdressed and feeling the mood, I'd go long. I did a Marilynn Monroe
one time and a bunch of friends were there. Comments, real hose........... undies too!!! best one.... look how good he walks in heels! loved it but proceed with caution. hugs!!

you know the group...is there any reason you'd need to go with the long habit? Otherwise, I'd go with the short one.

My wife recently stayed in a nunnery in Switzerland (bed and three meals!) while doing a course. Alas, she did not bring back a habit.

I think it depends on a couple of things: (1) how comfortable you are in the short dress version; (2) will other attendees be wearing costumes with shall we say a less than conservative monk and nun look?. No sense showing up in a short dress if everyone else is going to go with more traditional garb only to spend the entire night very uncomfortable . . . then again you could always smack them with your ruler :)

The full length looks much nicer in terms of design, and possibly fabric, but it certainly lacks the wow factor of the shorter one. Please could you send me the link to the long one? Thanks!

I've been looking lately, it's very hard to find one in cotton or linen, they're nearly all nylon or polyester. I'm too picky I guess. The sites that cater to religious groups have clunky designs.

Any advice anyone??

I think it depends how seriously you want to be taken..... ;) Seriously...?? (No - kidding :))

The only piece of advice I can offer toward anything to do with nuns is this: a quick, one-off kiss is OK, but you mustn't get into the habit... :facepalm:

I vote for the short habit, but you should add 4" FMPs over hose with a visible back seam and Cuban heels. Rock the outfit.

Of course that doesn't apply to us gals, so go for it...Short for sure...and don't forget the wooden ruler or the Catholic boys won't recognize you...LOL
