I'm attending a meeting tonight that is typically all men and two or three women (I'm one of them). We have a major guest presentor this evening. For privacy reasons I'll call him Mark (and change everyone else's name too).
This morning, I was nodding through breakfast when I received a text from my friend Chrissy, "Marilyn was trying to contact you on Facebook to see if you are able to give Mark a ride tonite."
So I checked Facebook. Sure enough, there was a private message from Marilyn, "Hi Barbara! I was supposed to drive Mark tonight." she went on to say that she couldn't because of a personal emergency, could I?
I wrote back, "I spoke with Mark and I'll take care of him."
"Thank you so much, Barb. 'Big hug' Very grateful."
I looped back to Chrissy, let her know it was all worked out and she replied, "You rock! Thanks!"
Problem solved among the women!
