i came across this site and in particular these example photos that i am just salivating over. i will save my pennies and i vow i will purchase at least one pair of stainless steel shoes locking of course my heart is pounding as i write this and i am all a flutter i must keep myself a bit more RESTRAINED in the future (anybody want the keys perhaps???)

There's a reason they look like objects of torture. Elegant objects of torture, to be sure, but objects of torture nonetheless. I'd almost imagine seeing something like those in the final scenes of Braveheart on that executioner's tool bench.
