As I work in an airport I'm constantly seeing all the girls from the cabin crew in their uniforms and admiring the look finished off sometimes wit some lovely heels, I really wish I could just go home and get dressed as myself.
just wondered if any other girls have similar experience.

Hi Crystal,
I would be lying if I said I have not had similar thoughts . . . not cabin crew mind you. I have been out doing my guy thing and seen women dressed in a way I would like to dress and think about doing so.

Working where you are and seeing all those trim taut terrific girls all day does skew your view of life.
It is still nice to dream and look forward to going home at the end of the day. :)

I had that same experience when I was a limo driver and spent mega-hours in airport terminals. I was also a part-time wedding photographer, many of the events were just a steady flow of attractive ladies dressed in their finest, often it was so overwhelming that I had trouble staying focused on my duties.

well like was mentioned on annother thread "you might e a cross dresserif" ------ when you look at a shapely lady and instead of "anting her" you wish you were her . I am getting uite a few lessons in style and mannerism's this way as well as a whole perspective on different levels of being fem .

Not a day goes by when I don't see an attractive woman and think "I wish I looked like that," or "gee, I wish I could wear that." It's just part of my life.

Too many times to count unfortunately. See a make up style that you can't do, see a real woman dressed out the way you wish you could dress out and the list goes on and on. Saw quite a few today alone.

I have a student this semester that is knock out beautiful, dark hair, dark eye, and dress to the nines every day. Her make up is always perfect. I so want to ask her where she get her clothes, could she give me make up lesson. She has great style, I am not lusting after her, I am lusting being her.

Always plenty of women in skirts, dresses and heels at the many trade shows and conferences I attend for work, making me daydream about what awaits me in my suitcase up in my hotel room at the end of the day ... ;)

Annaliese that's exactly how I feel, I get a feeling if deep jealousy when I see these women looking so perfect and I wish I could be one of them, and I can't even ask them for tips x

I used to work on Capital Hill in DC. My goodness the women who worked there knew how to dress. Needless to say, I was very envious.
I suppose, you could just go home and get dressed yourself. What's stopping you?

Be careful Crystal! I used to have those feelings too. One morning I woke up and my pee pee had been turned into a vejay. From then on, I had to dress like a woman. Oh how cruel fate is!!!;)

Yesterday at a customer's house , morning, she is wearing a LBD with flats. I'm working doing my thing almost finished and she comes to check on me. She is now wearing high heeled platform pumps in a tan color. She is cute but all I see is what she is wearing and of course can not say anything.

Yes I do that too, look at how a beautiful lady is dressed and think I might look good in that lol.
So for those of us who dress I say it's common

I wonder if there are many of us who don't have these thoughts? For me, it could be a dress or just a cute tank top and shorts. I've forever looking at women and appreciating what they are wearing. And it seems the more I dress the more I appreciate them!
But Crystal yes, I do think that flight attendants are really classy dressers and it's great that you get to appreciate them every day!

Just when I was starting to cultivate a nurse fantasy, you had to mention flight attendant. Oh, those cute little hats. Braniff, PanAm, TWA.

Hi Annaliese - you're clearly observing the appropriate lines, as you must - but I couldn't help but laugh out loud at the image of the politically-correct fallout fr one in your position asking those perfectly normal questions. No faculty handbook I've ever seen has a rule prohibiting them, of course, so you wouldn't be crossing an "established line" (though that wouldn't protect you from having a harassment charge being made). At the same time, genetically female teachers are free to ask them; so perhaps you're being unfairly constrained by not being free to ask the same normal questions any other woman would ask. Perhaps you could consider filing a complaint with the U yourself and striking a blow for CD-TG liberty?! Hugs - Diane

When I was a kid I thought my uncle had the coolest job. He worked for united airlines. I remember him taking us on a tour of the airport and telling me he trained flight attendants . This was in Seattle in the sixties.

I often in my youth wondered why I was not sexually aroused to the extent of what other men were by a well put together lady. Now I realize that I was envious of them to a great extent and always had wished that I could dress that beautifully. At the same time I really liked to dress well as a man and get compliments from not only my wife but from women acquaintance. This is just the start of an idea for a new post that I will be working on offline called THE MUSINGS OF AN OLD MAN.

I find myself doing exactly the same at work, am totally jealous of what the girls can wear and working out ways I can bring a hint to my outfits (unsuccessfully I might add).

Yup, my life often takes me to places like business events where a lot of attractively dressed women are, and I wish so strongly that I could dress like them in public on a daily basis.
The desire to do so can often overwhelm me to the point where I get angry until I then dress up at home, or especially on a little public trip.

Its so rare to see a cute dressed woman here, shorts, tees and flip flops are the uniform of the day.
While comfy, not super attractive. I noticed a lot of travelers in leggings and long top, cute and comfy but
definitely not "dressy".

Well flight attendants have to conform to a dress code and they mostly are very careful about their grooming. The result is always pleasing and they make most of the passengers, both male and female, look like slobs.

 I will respect you OPINION on that but really? Just because you don't find it attractive doesn't mean others don't. Some people like the look of shorts (google fashion shorts women) or feet in flip flops. Long tops hide things the wearer may not like...All a matter of perspective
One thing I always wonder when this tyep of thread comes up. How would you like it, as a man, if women said "I hate men in polos" or "shorts on guys are just sloppy looking". Comparing the flight crew outfits as apples and apples, don't you think the jackets and ties are sexy on men? I understand the point to the OP. Yes CDs want to look like their idea of the "ideal" woman. Heck I want to look like MY ideal woman which isn't what GGs my age in my geographic area want to look like. But remember, your taste isn't everyone's taste. Saying something isn't attractive can be used back on you. Especially if you dress as a guy on occasion...

Well, I hear this kind of thing often (In my job the workforce is nearly all women). And I used it to my benefit; I know what they like, and prepped myself for the market, so to speak. Stand out; be the guy in a suit (ok, you can take the tie off to make it more suitable for after work hours). But you WILL be noticed out of the crowd of polos and khakis by every woman in the room.
As far as charlenesomeone's remark, well she needs to get to the spring break areas of Florida more often this time of year. There's plenty of hot young female bodies in skimpy outfits out there. All you have to do is look in the right places.

Living in Smallville, Iowa, the standard uniform for ladies is tee's, jeans and sneakers. Little if no makeup. I live three blocks from the comm. college, and the scenery does not change much. I attended a wedding last fall and most of the gg's were dressed as such; little girls, teens, young and older adults. The only skirts or dresses were worn by the geriatric section.
Evidently I'm from the "Donna Reed" generation!

I NEVER liked polo shirts!

I was standing on a corner in downtown Chicago last month and saw a beautiful young lady wearing tights and a knee high skirt over 5 inch heel knee high boots crossing the street. I couldn't help but wish that I were wearing the same outfit.

I work in the civil court system and so many of the lady lawyers just dress perfectly for court. So many beautiful suits with heels. I so wish I could do the same.

I do it all the time when I am out especially at the airport; I have to stop my self from staring too much, don’t want those lovely girls to get the wrong idea
