My relationship with my boyfriend is getting stronger everyday. We spend the weekends together doing things any normal suburban couple will do dining out, shopping, movies BBQ with friends etc. I can be Barbara 24/7 and my boyfriend won't hide our relationship while being out and about...This weekend he invited me to a romantic getaway to the Alamo city San Antonio Texas,
This was my first road trip as Barbara, we stopped at the historical town of Gruene Texas and everything went right then we strolled the River walk and the downtown area as any other normal couple,
I can't believe just last year I was more than happy to be on the closet and now I am being out on mainstreams places that I couldn't imagine to do.I am sure I will remember the Alamo...The Alamo street where I took this pic:hugs:

Thanks for sharing. And, you look lovely Barbara. Last time I was at the Alamo was a day pass from Lackland AFB, 1965. Dee was only a tiny seed then.

Best to you and yours,
Dee :fairy1:

Congratulations Barbara. Some people have all the luck. I have watched you mature and change since I first got here. You look wonderful and so content. Please look up us Bay Area girls if you ever make it out this way. Bring your BF too, we do not discriminate, at least not too much!

Well, congratulations Barbara! I'm glad you enjoyed the Alamo city as I call it.... home. :battingeyelashes: You look so wonderful on the bridge. I've walked that riverwalk so many times. My alma mater high school is located in the downtown area and I virtually grew up downtown. Fast forwarded nine years, and my first job was downtown. I spent two years eating lunches down on the riverwalk, happy hour, etc.. it was 1980s and it was big hair, big shoulders, and big fun. Alas, it was pre-Cassie days, but good memories none the less. In another week, we'll have our annual Fiesta Week, glad you visited when you did, for I doubt you would find a hotel room beginning next Thursday and for the following ten days. We'll love to have you back anytime.

Barbara, Nice picture on that bridge over the river walk. I wish I had a trip like that. Perhaps one day... I have been there a few times over the last twenty years but never crossdressed.

My wife and I were at the Alamo this Weekend also. We went to the missions, blue star brewing and stayed at the Wyndham. Overall goodweekend and romantic times. (Other than wall in around aimlessly for a few hours. The tower is awesome at night.

Hi Barbara, what a cool experience. You used the term "normal couple" twice in your post. I'd venture to say that going out gets more normal every day until we don't even see the difference.

San Antonio is just a very romantic city, so much charm n night life there. I just love the river walk( all though I'd hate to walk it in heels) but it is a great place for weekend getaway. I know exactly where that bridge is your picture was taken at. Glad you enjoyed it and Remember the Alamo. There's also some very nice CDs on this site that can help you when you visit again. Great picture.
