Congratulations, you are moving along the path nicely. A weight loss of 55 - 60 pounds is fabulous. Good luck with the rest of your journey.

Continue on in the positive way that you are. Congrats!!!
Does the avadard make all your hair grow as most others do?

Dear Carla, I read your post last evening and my heart sank.
I just finished my 7th month HRT and have only net-loss about 12 pounds since I started hormones. My goal was to be at 165 by the end of April 2015 and my weight was 225 when I started. (sound familiar?)
I put the computer down and dwelled. Weight for me has been a huge struggle. But I wonder if it’s related to something deeper? Maybe I’m making excuses for not progressing? I can’t see myself at this weight forever. Uggh. I cried.
Woke up this morning with words echoing in my mind from conversations last week with people, such as “you’ve plateaued on your transition, are you OK?” and “you’re not making progress lately….” Add these people caring sentiments (they do care, they truly are concerned) with my lack of any weight loss, and I’m spinning my wheels.
So what I have done is screen printed the text from your post, after all, this was the post *I* wanted to write back from a September 2014 point of view. And have made it the background of my computer so I will not forget, and cannot forget, to continue to make progress in the area of weight loss. And no more excuses.
Someone else wrote my post, her name is Carla. And Carla just inspired me in ways that no one else has ever done to lose the weight and keep it off permantently.
Thank you Carla for writing this post. I *WILL* be writing a similar post in 6 months. Your inspiration to me means more than any words I can write here. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Yes Avadard works my hair is growing even people are noticing it and commenting on it, my bald spots are filling in, so happy, hormones are part of the equation you have to change your diet, ramp up your metabolism, and drink allot of water, exercise helps and I bike ride, and work out, but please get your self checked out as you lose weight I did it is a ton to lose so fast
