Hi all, For my many friends here, I thought it time to give an update as to why I have been off-site so long. In the past 6 months, I was graced with the birth of my 6th grandchild who was born with many physical disabilities which has caused surgeries and therapy. Ok, she is beginning to show many positive signs. Hoping this continues and she is able to have a fairly normal childhood. More recently my wife found she had breast cancer and has had surgery and is having chemo. Needless to say things have not been normal around my home. She will pull through I am sure.

Just wanted you to know why I've been absent from here, but will again become a regular soon......Hugs Madilyn

I know being a grand parent comes with a bit of angst and responsibilities and with your wife's medical problems now under control maybe life will simmer down for you - prayers be with you and nice to see you back..........................Debra

Madilyn, I'm very sorry to hear of the health issues in your family. My number 2 daughter had surgery for breast cancer several months ago and has completed radiation now, so far all seems OK. My younger sister had that about two years ago and is also doing fine. I hope that your wife will recover quickly.

Granskids are so special, it's sad to have a new one with so many problems, glad to hear progress is being made.

I'll keep your wife, you and the rest of your family in my prayers.
