So, this is official day 0 of HRT. Started hormones today!!

Have a great Endo, had a wonderful discussion. She is fully on board, and took the time to answer all my questions and had a very good, frank discussion, in English, not "medicalese", which I appreciated.

To answer the first question, no, I did not take it in the parking lot of the pharmacy! ;) I figured it would be best if the conception happened in the privacy of my own home ! :heehee: Needless to say, on cloud 9 plus right now. Don't what else to say right now....may be more articulate later when it all sinks in.

The marathon has begun....

congrats, thats awesome i also went to see my "specialist" as i call her

but the first day is just wonderful i couldnt wait to get home and take it especially the E (i was on spiro for about 5 months before E) it will get even better when you start to notice the differences and they up your dosage :)

on a side note there are alot of girls in here from ontario

Congrats Erin!!! I'm on HRT for 9.5 months. Welcome to the roller coaster ride!!! Enjoy the physical changes (although they occur slowly)!!! Enjoy the emotional changes, because you will feel them much quicker. I'm totally more in touch with my feelings and I cry (and laugh) way more than I used to. This is a huge step and welcome to your new life!!! :)

Erin, such sweet news! I know how long you've waited for this. I consider March 5 (my first day on HRT) to be a re-birthday of sorts for me as Karen. Happy re-birthday to you as well!

One of the things you'll delightfully discover is that your emotions come more freely. You'll learn what it is to cry and not be sad -- you're just moved to express yourself. It's cathartic, healthy, and it makes me so happy to feel my place in the world. Just be patient and life will begin to open up. You'll see. It's just begun to open up or me so far at only 3 months in, yet I love every single minute of this. Take care, sister!
