I hesitate to post "feel-good" stories... but what the heck! :) This one made me feel great.

I was at my daughters' year-end musical theatre recital. After the performances, there were refreshments. I was sitting having a drink when the mother of my daughter's duet partner came up (I'd emailed her ex-husband a couple of days before to give them a heads-up about me since they'd never seen me as Dianne before.)

She said to me "Dianne, I just wanted to come over and say you look gorgeous. And I'm so happy for you that you're able to do this."

Wow. I felt so good!!! I guess it doesn't take much.

It may not take much, but to me, that is HUGE! I'd feel great, too! Good on you!

I'm sorry, Dianne, you're wrong to hesitate. Of course you can share things that go well for you.

This lady must have very good taste.

So many of us feel it is wrong to post "feel good" posts, but they are the counter measure to the WMD posts. It is always validating when even one person approaches and validates who you are :)

Transition is fraught with difficulties. Feel good posts are a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep them coming.
