What if we humans evolved where we wore no clothes make up or jewelry? Men and women only looked different by body parts and we didn't have any hair on us. What would we (us CD people) be? :daydreaming:

Not sure where we would be, but I do know without clothes we wouldn't be outside in the winter, at least in my part of the world *brr*

Because cross dressing is NOT just about the clothes, a cross dresser would do something else that mimics the opposite gender. Could be mannerisms, hair style, speech, whatever, we'd still be a cross genderist.

I will admit that I initially thought this was just a bit of fluff but it is a good question. To which I have no answer. I do hope, however, that we managed to at least invent little towels that we place on chairs before we sit.

If it were not for pantyhose being invented I highly doubt that I'd have created my gurl persona. So without clothing I doubt that I would mimic the opposite gender. Sorry Jennifer for being too loyal to the clothing aspect to nix your theory. No pantyhose = no wig, no fake boobies, no make up, and no reason for me to take on the feminine mannerisms or persona

Hi Lexi,

I guess it would depend on what CDing means to a person. If there is a sexual fetish attached to the clothing or it just makes you feel good, well I suppose that could be transferred into something else the other gender does "sans clothing". However, if there is an innate need to mimic/be/attain the target gender then it is likely the CDer would engage in other aspects to achieve that desire (e.g., alter mannerisms, walk, voice or engage in activities as the target gender).

Cheers

I always pondered that, assuming cave men went around with fig leaves as renaissance pictures portray we'd have little fig leaf bra's :heehee:

Lexi,
Clothes developed very early on to suit our gender needs so I guess the thought of wearing a fur mini skirt may have been appealing from the start, man has always needed to be turned on by something provocative so I guess CDing may go back a long way !
As for no clothes at all, I think body shaving would never have happened, I know I feel degrees cooler by not having hair so I guess the more you had the better then !

Hi Lexi, I guess that the men would be wearing fig leafs on our chests too.:daydreaming:

We would be nakkkkkkid and probably looking for some red berries to rub on our cheeks & lips, green or blue berries to squeeze and rub it on our eyes and then we would be trying to find a fig leaf to wrap around us. CD s are just that way.... Lol

This forum would not be necessary either. :)

Jaylyn, my thoughts exactly about the berries (not surprisingly, as we know this about each other). Puddles would be the only mirrors. We need a vertical one. Get busy, inventors. I think I would wrap an animal skin around my waist and by doing so invent the first skirt. A small animal skin will suffice - mid-thigh is long enough for me.

A better question would be; What do crossdressers do in tropical jungle tribes where to this day, only the groin is covered with clothing?

Perhaps crossdressing evolved because of clothing, not in spite of it.
