Tonight I saw a man with a purse and long blue finger nails. His hair was pulled back tight into a small ponytail. Otherwise he was presenting male. He behaved in a ... prissy way (forgive me) when he spoke to the employee of the restaurant. Then he walked back to his table. I looked and he was sitting with a woman and two children. I assume they were his wife and kids. It pleased me to see him being accepted by what I thought was his family. I would love to dress pretty and spend a date with my wife. I would feel so loved.

Sounds like a lovely family.

I'm happy for him, in whatever that minimal presentation affords him, he was being himself to do it, and probably meant so much to him

Good for him! It appears that he was comfortable being himself and has an accepting family as well. One lucky man, I'd say.

Wow, I've often though of doing that myself but I think I'd feel too self concious (yah, I need to get over it!)

I've been out for an evening for a meal and theatre with my wife dressed, admittedly it was to the Rocky Horror Picture Show but what a fab night, I loved it.

I wish I had enough hair to put in a ponytail

it can be normal, people just need to get over silly stereotypes. I just spent the week doing as he was; no problems at all, even in a remote country town.
