I finally bought a dress last night

Well ladies, I finally broke down and bought a beautiful dress last night. It is a black velvety long evening gown. I have always loved black velvety dresses. It has a blingy diamond of diamonds on the front right between the breasts. It matches a pair of strappy velvety black shoes I have had for a while now. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance. I had a few minutes before work this morning and I slipped it on along with one of my wigs. I was in heaven - what a way to wake up!

Yes I did. It was in Hechts which is closing soon due to the Macy's buyout (this was in a mall with both, so Hechts loses). I spent about a half hour in the dress section poking around trying to find the perfect dress(es). Unfortuntely, I only found this one - looking back, its probably better that I didn't find more than one because my wallet would hurt. I picked up this dress and was going to the ladies dressing room when several young :eek: girls walked in. Thinking that I didn't want to cause any "trouble", I went up to the sales lady and said, "I'm going downstairs to try this on in the men's fitting room." She kind of looked at me like that was a strange comment and said, "Why?" I motioned to the fitting rooms and said they looked pretty busy and she said "Oh." I walked down to the men's fitting room and tried it on. I brought it back upstairs and found a 3 for a good price set of panties and bought all four items.

It's always nice when you find a dress you like. It's even more exciting when you try it on.

I give you lots of credit for your honesty telling the sales woman you wanted to try it on.

I don't think I could do that even though I'd like the attention of a young woman helping me find the right dress size. I know my wife certainly wouldn't go for that.
