After 2-1/2 years of doing all the clinical stuff, (seeing head crushers , MD's, endo's, gyno's), living as me, I am in the middle of the next step. I have been finger printed, had background check, and yesterday, I filed with the courts for my name change. I should know something in the next couple weeks. I was told the court will simply mail me my approval letter, I may not even have to appear before a judge. And I had such a nice business outfit to wear. Next step is my letter from my gyno. I'm kinda walking on clouds and eggshells right now.
Thanks to all of you for putting up with me for the past few years. Your journeys have helped me on the road well traveled, but less acknowledged.

A road paved with clouds and eggshells!
You've done well to come so far on such an unusual pavement!

Congratulations!
If life were more fair we'd arrive at the courthouse to pick up our Court Order, the Judge, in full judicial robes, would come rushing out to meet us, and a flashmob would be dancing in the courtyard.
I grew up watching too many musicals and was kinda let down when the judge wasn't even in the courtroom, just me and my spouse and the clerk, and then I had to pay another 15 bucks to get my certified copy to take home!
Hugs!
Persephone.

Congratulations and I wish you to have the least amount of potholes in your journey as humanly possible.
