Well, one of those "once in a blue moon" needs to correct my name came up. My mail-in ballot came with the wrong name even though I re-registered twice. So I pulled out my court order so I can go correct it and noticed two things. First, Friday will be a year. :lovestruck: Of course that makes you reflect quite a bit, and I did.

But also, the date on the court order is correct, but the date they made the official copy for me hasn't occurred for two more years. For all the people I have shared this with, not one commented on it. Just copy and file it away. Maybe that is why I can't vote as Sue, it will take two more years...

Sounds like an error. Have you called their Court Clerk office to clarify. The date of the court order should be the controlling official date. Ask them for a corrected Official Copy, unless that it how they do it in Utah.

So does this mean you are living incognito until then?

I was joking around in that last part. I'm sorry it wasn't apparent. I have changed my world with that order. And yes, the date of the 14th is what matters. The red date is just the date they made the official copy. I suppose I could go back and for a few bucks a copy, get some with a realistic date. I might even talk them into an exchange since it is their error. Easy enough fix if I need to.

You had me scratching my head on that one. I thought it was some weird law or something. You never know about Utah.

Most people assume the LDS are in a time warp ... the general public just think it's the past.

You are now the proud owner of tabloid-quality proof that they actually come from the future.

Two things: Don't sell cheap, and Congratulations, you have a place in Future-world!

We have our ways here. Next time I should get back to the present first before getting date stamped documents.

Gotta say, I never figured Utah would be so forward looking! On the other and, had it been Texas, the date might have been 1907.
