Yesterday, in the 90 degree plus heat, I went out for the fifth time in two weeks! It was not quite as fun in the heat and humidity, especially in pantyhose! First, i got all dressed, then covered with guy shirt and pants. Really warm!! Went to give blood plasma, then went to a Farm and Fleet store, for a few things. Good thing i stayed underdressed, as it was full of redneck type fellows!. Then drove to the university park and pond trail, saw almost no cars, or people, shed my guy stuff, put on some eye, and lip makeup, and some powder makeup, and slipped on my lowest heesl, and went. Almost a minute, and here comes a young lady, merging onto the direction i was going, and after a few minutes, i decided to change directions. As she passed, i noticed she looked amused, nervous, so i squeaked out a hello, kept going, A number of cars passed me, no problems. One stopped to let me cross. I mad a blunder there, by NODDING!! a GUY THING, NOT A LADY THING! Then a young couple came from the opposite way, and i passed by, as they had stopped for a bit. They were saying things quietly to themselves. Then i stopped at a little bridge, to take photos of Alice. I took several frontal shots, then tried a back shot. I was horrified to see, THAT I HAD NOT ZIPPED UP THE BACK OF MY DRESS , BUT HALF WAY!!! People must have thought i was a hooker!! A hooker CD!! I struggled to get the zipper all the way up, then went to a place to sit, and a lady with her dog, avoided me there, then walked along the main street, with lots of traffic, and heard some things coming from one car, directed at me, but couold not make it out. I then walked completely around the university lake or pond, only meeting a few people. Said hello to one Asian man. Then drove to a Burger King, to a drive up, but a group of young men speaking a foreign language, was blocking me. I know they were talking about me, though, as they took their time clearing the lane. Here is the shocking photo, of my biggest mistake of the day. had i been with another person, this would have been pointed out to me right away, not 20 minutes into my walk.

Your increasing confidence is admirable Alice. To make a mistake like that indicates you're becoming much more relaxed about dressing...either that or you're totally losing your marbles, but who wants a full marbles collection anyway - sounds like a collection of Franklin Mint tea cups -

Best wishes as ever, Nikki

Nikki, Everytime i go out, the butterflies, and worry wort, are present! I did manage a lot of nervous smiles in my latest photo session, though.

Hi Alice,

Don't sweat the small mistakes (well okay . . . somewhat bigger). The point is you were out and while it may have been a bit unnerving, you seemed to have weathered the faux pas well. Keep enjoying your Alice time.

Cheers

Isha

Thanks Isha. I am in a bit of the pink fog, lately, but must not let it keep my from personal responsibilities, like making income, work, helping others, or making friends. It is nice when its nice, though, but is just a part of me.

Any safe and major event free outing is a good one....wardrobe failures notwithstanding.

You'll know you've "arrived" when these little mistakes stop bothering you. (They always happen.)
