My guess is u wear size 13 or larger? Because many people wearing size 11 and under's feet don't bend enuff to wear 6" heels. Like me----

Oh! Maybe u mean platforms!? Be careful. Those r dangerous!

I only have three pair of heels... classic black pumps with a 2", some red peep-toe's that are about 4" but my faves are a pair of really sexy, felt black, zip up the back of the heel, lace-up, peep-toe's with an ankle wrap that are 5" high. I love the way the look on me but i HATE that I can't walk in them!

How do GGs do this??? I've watched videos. Have been trying to practice a few minutes here and there when I know I'll be alone for a bit but still look like a new born deer trying out her legs.

If you figure out those 6-inchers write back and give a girl some tips. :)

I know what ya mean I'm still fig them out but have to say the best way is practice I usually try to wear mine for at least 8 hours or longer at a time and truly I try not to think to much I just get up and walk like a regular pair of heels sure dose make things a lot more fun good luck and be carefully they are dangerous

A buddy of mine would call that Bambi legs, like a newborn fawn. Just like the girls at their 8th grade graduation!

Having fun and feeling good are the main reasons to cd in the first place as I see it.

I have no heels yet, no sure how I'd cope in them! Seems like a bigger step than buying clothes, wigs etc. Not sure why.

There not bad I would not recommend 6inch as your first pair pay less usually sell regular pair for a fare price something to look into I'm sure u would love them

Be careful Pony Gurl, once you start down the heeled path it's hard to stop
unless you have incredible self control. I thought I did but now have 19 pairs which
may sound like a lot if you don't have any. Compared to some gals here I'm
just a newborn shoe collector. But you should have one good pair at least.
Start with a wedge they are easier to walk in than a stiletto.

fun is the point of CD-ing is it not?
I only have 3" heels but then i can fit into a UK 8 heeled, and don't feel there's any way i could walk in anything like 4" or more.

I love heels, but 4 inches is my limit, and some are easier than others, depending on how the shoes is designed. I'm a big- footed girl, too (women's 14/15) ;)

@pony_girl

I'm am also just getting use to the sizes and shoes are out of my comprehension level.

Also cause they are not cheap and I do not want to risk returning things.

All I know at this stage is how to but cloathing. . Size 14uk seems perfect for me.

At 6'2"/188cm the last thing I need really is extra height. However I do have flats, 2" courts and 3" knee-high boots which I only pull on for photoshoots. I now see how short girls can get up on very high heels....They wear platforms, which allow the foot to assume a more 'normal' angle on top of outrageously high heels. I suppose walking in them requires practice, but I cannot see that e.g. driving a car in them would be safe.

Hi Steph, It's like learning to ride a bike, If you fall off just get back up and try again & again & again.

After al these years for me walking in heels is a piece of cake.:daydreaming:

I just love to wear heels more than flats. for me it took a little while to learn how to walk with my heels and now I do real well as long as they aren't over 4.5 inches. If I wear 5 inches I ten to wobble a little I guess I need to practice a little morel.

I looooooove my heels. I am 6'1" and wear 4 to 5 inch heels. Too tall? who cares. The world looks great from up here. LOL

I find that when I first put on a pair of heels I tend to wobble a bit but as the day goes on I can walk better in them. Even if I put them on and wobble to the computer, after sitting here for a while I get up and walk pretty well.

The key is to practice wearing them when you don't need to so it will come naturally when you do.

To be honest though, my highest heels are 3". A woman my age and size wouldn't usually wear anything higher.

I'd love to try high heels, never really got the chance to do it. Just some small ones that aren't mine of course - and in secrecy
