Date for SRS!

At 3:43 I received an email from Dr Satterwhite granting me a date for SRS. The date is May 12, 2016. I guess I will have my birthday almost be the same since it is May 14th. I called my wife and I admit was a little scared it might upset her. I asked if she was ok and she said, " Yes honey, I have adjusted already. I support you 100 percent."

It has been a depressing week with no response from work. They have promised to talk about how we move forward but keep failing to respond. Meanwhile, I have had to appear as a male 3 times in 5 days. I just can't bear it!!!!!

So now after this news and how tough my wife is I need to get my head up. I am going forward and nothing is going to stop me. I have people to love and help. Last night a friend from AA asked me if I would be interested in speaking to a young group of LGBT teens in a positive image program. I of course said I would be delighted.

You've been through some real trials in the past couple of years and faced them all with courage and honesty and I hope and pray that your fortitude will be duly rewarded with how you feel on your next birthday... :D

Seems like a long way but hopefully time will go quickly... you can pass some of it by gently booting your employer's processes up the butt... sounds like they need a serious attitude readjustment and I hope that works out soon for you.. :hugs:

Yes although not legally required I did tell them I would be having surgery in May or June. I will tell them Monday it is scheduled for May 12th.
