Went out with my SO to the mall for the first time in awhile, certainly the first time since I have accepted this side of me, and I ended up in a women's clothing store with her. We had a BLAST picking out clothes for her. She doesn't know about my dressing, but it was really neat to have that experience helping her, and actually having a somewhat informed opinion. Why I didn't help her before, Idk, but it certainly felt good to be there in that capacity for her. Fwiw, the only thing she bought at this particular store was something I picked out.. She gave a lot of more specific praise as to my input, but suffice to say, she says I'm coming with her from now on, no questions asked :) It gives me hope that maybe one day I can approach her about my situation in a way that she'll be accepting.
