Has anyone here participated in this "imperial sovereign court system"? These organizations exist in almost every state of the US. They have "fancy dress balls" and offer money to their local charities. Each year they elect new Princess, princes, Kings and Queens sounds like great fun.

Anyone know about them?

Yes, we have them up here in Canada as well. I have performed and attended at a few Coronation Balls. They are actually quite boring, however the after parties were awesome!
The majority of good drag shows here in Winnipeg are hosted by them.

I guess that is okay if that is what you want to do. I have found over the years, however, that being part of a group's agenda kind of limits my own personal development. :)

Honestly, I thought they were long gone.

I think that they have a chapter in the San Francisco bay area too. A few years ago I saw and exhibition of posed photographs of the royal court. Very well done with the participants dressed very formally, almost vintage style, with ornate and over the top hair styles and makeup. It was very interesting but not for me.
