Last week I went to my favourite shop and as we all do spend more than we want to but what the heck lets enjoy ourselves. I was helped by the SA that helped me before and it was like we were old friends seeing each other again, I was there maybe an hour and half then left. This SA had been so helpful on so many occasions I went back in a few days later with a bottle of wine, wrapped, to thank her. now this lady is normally on her own in this shop but this time not knowing it would be any different I went boldly with the wine to find her not only chatting with her colleague who works on the Saturdays but also another friend of theirs. my usual lady came over and I started to give her the bottle of wine, but felt so embarrassed in front of her colleagues that all I could do was retreat rapidly.
I brooded over this situation thinking that she must think me very rude to virtually plonk the wine down and then go. So this afternoon I went back in and explained why I had left so rapidly, the response was so gratifying I need not have worried at all, she said it was not a problem at all and the wine was lovely. I was so pleased I ended up buying another skirt and matching blouse.
I had such a lovely time chatting with her, she advising me about colours and everything else, We chatted about all sorts and in the end I had to go it was closing time! I had been in there for nearly 2 hours. Oh what a lovely way to finish the day.
