Yesterday I went to the casino wearing under my male clothes my girl underware including black pantyhose and when I cross my legs its very easy to notice that I am wearing pantyhose, so theres a very pretty woman that I usually talk to her when she is close to my slot machine and I crossed my legs with the wish that her noticed, and Suddenly she gets one cigarrete from her bag, and start looking to my pantyhose and she gives me a confidence smile. Unfortunately I had to leave just one minute later.

Now I am wondering what she is going to say me the next time we meet

Have you ever received a confidence smile?

I think I did once while leaving the mall wearing skinny jeans and ladies boots carrying a big LTS bag. Very attractive young lady have me what I would call an odd but sincere smile. It was nice but felt odd, I found her attractive from a guy perspective but at the same time kinda 'hey sis, nice jeans!'

Yes! Several different occasions while walking thru Vegas casinos. They were all from young women, which I believe were employees. I know they've seen everything! So, seeing another pretty wearing a hot outfit is no big deal.

Even if she did have the face of a 70 y/o man!

Hi Fany, :hugs:I have gotten that kind of smile from a couple of female cashiers when purchasing feminine items
and some times a comment about how nice my nails look while making change.:daydreaming:

I seldom look for signs of acceptance or non-acceptance from people I do not know when dressed. I usually do not even try to make eye contact, because then I start to think and become unnecessarily concerned about what other people think. I am safety conscious and do like a feeling of excitement being dressed, but I do no look to see if anyone notices me. I guess I don't care. I dress for me.

Why do you call it a "confidence smile"?

I suspect it's more of a "I see you are gay" smile.

LOL, that's my concern, or was
.."I'm a lesbian Jim, not a gay" to quote an old Star Trek episode 😃

As I think about it though, gay guys don't like women so why would they want to present as one, most gay guys are very good looking 'dudes' I find. I think the whole drag queen thing is gay guys poking fun at women by going over the top so to speak?

Back to the topic though, I have gotten 'that' smile and now I think more about it I'm not sure what it meant...is there a GG in the house who can help?

The percentage of gay guys who cross-dress is probably the same as the percentage of straight guys who cross-dress.

The reason some gay guys cross-dress is probably the same reason why some straight guys cross-dress. Because we are transgendered. I don't dress in order to attract a gay guy, or to be attractive to a gay guy. Jut as I would presume a straight cd'er doesn't dress in order to attract a straight woman or to be attractive to a straight woman.

I dress because it's something I like. Much the same as you do I would assume...

The OP didn't appear to be presenting as a woman or dressing like one, he said he was wearing male clothes with women's underwear and black panty hose and he even intentionally sat so the woman would see them.

The gay people I've actually known dressed and acted like anyone else but I do see people out in public from time to time who show what I interpret to be "signs of gayness". Black pantyhose would be one of those signs.

Gay or straight, dressed strange or normal, if you make eye contact with someone in public, they pretty much have to either smile or frown. This one smiled.

Black pantyhose are a sign of gayness? I perceive them as a sorta feminine-presenting garment. A sign of gayness would be, say, signing a marriage license with someone else of the same sex.

:P

ANYWAY, I often offer smiles to people in public who are doing their own thing. I see it as sharing a moment, not doling out my approval.

I know gay guys who put on women's clothing and/or makeup to attract other gay guys. Usually they don't do forms or a wig, because they want to send the right message (which is basically "Look how cute I am.") Let's face it, anyone gay or straight brought up in our society sees certain fashions as alluring or provocative. If they're being worn by the kind of person you're attracted to, it's a win.

Black pantyhose are a sign of gayness?

Oh gosh, yes. Straight guys wear the red ones. (And drone on about how they use them to keep warm while out hunting or doing other manly things.) :battingeyelashes:

Oh, that's right! Green hose are for bi guys, and the questioning guys wear purple. Asexual men only wear ankle socks.

Krisi how in the world would wearing pantyhose make someone think you are gay?
If a woman saw your hose she would think oh he is wearing pantyhose and let it go.
I don't know any gay men that wear pantyhose on a regular basis and FYI I know plenty of them.

it's way off topic, colours of hose or leggings for gayness - they're just joking.

I think my ex noticed me exposing some high-thong under my t-shirt/above rear of my shorts once, but she never said a word, i think i call that a non-confidence grimace!
