Hi Girls

More of a general question how many of us own female costumes (witch, princess, etc) and if you do have you worn them to party's and what was the reaction?

Kayla,

Last August a group of us dressed up as witches and went downtown to see Wicked. The reaction was fantastic, people loved us. While we were waiting to get in, people were requesting to get pictures with us. A couple of the gals in our group dressed up as Glenda the good witch. One of the people requesting a picture with one of our Glenda's said that she was performing as Glenda that night. Before the play, during intermission, and after people kept requesting pictures.

This Halloween I am donating platelets at the Red Cross again. Last year I went as a SWAT girl, Sexy Without Actually Trying. My wife says it is [edit] While Actually Trying. The nurses have talked about that visit through out the year. My wife and I went to a Red Cross Donors dinner earlier in the month. The gal who schedules our appointments told my wife and I that she was envious of my curves and hoped I did not take offense. None taken, but I know she really wanted my thigh high stiletto boots. This year I am going as the Wicked Witch from the play Wicked.

Last year I went to a Halloween costume contest at a local gay nightclub that features drag shows. It's a place I often go as Ceera. I wore a "naughty schoolgirl" costume with a very short plaid miniskirt. Nothing revealing, other than showing a lot of leg. Didn't win, but had fun.

This year I am going to a house party where a friend who knows me as Ceera will be performing with her music trio. I'll be in costume as a late 60's, early 70's "Hippie Flower Child", with retro bell bottom pants and a feathered headband and a long fringed suede vest. The only people who will be at that party have met me before will be the three ladies in the trio, and the wives of one or two of those ladies, who all know me as Ceera. To everyone else, including the hosts of the party, I'll be just another lady who came to hear the trio sing and enjoy the party.

I also own, but haven't yet worn in public, a costume as a Renaissance 'Lady in waiting / medieval lady'. Might wear that to a Renaissance Faire at some point, to get by until I can purchase better period female clothes and change into them at the faire.

I could have a witch costume if I bought a pointy hat (I have the black skirt and blouse) but since I have no place to wear the costume I won't buy the hat.

I have many and have worn several variations to a next-town-over annual RHPS event. If you know RHPS then you know it is the norm. I go clubbing afterwards and have never had a problem. To the best of my knowledge I've never met anyone I know during my annual (nine years) Halloween adventures.

My girlfriend and I got themed costumes for this year. Alice in Wonderland is for her and I got the Red Queen. No plans to go anywhere, we tried them on last weekend and they were awesome. We are hoping to be kid free this weekend so we can do a few costume changes and some pictures!
