Awe thanks everyone, unfortunately my Dr just post poned until Dec 2 he wanted to do a few tests on my heart to make sure I am good for surgery doing those tests this week, keep all posted, in july I broke two ribs, and it bruised my heart and punctured my lung I died on the table and lost 4 liters of blook, they put steel plates on my ribs, and I recovered so he wants to be safe than sorry, glad I have a good Dr

Carla;
Better safe than sorry. I actually carry a copy of my stess tests with me just in case something happens. They are abnormal but my normal and if incapacitated results could throw Drs off in the wrong direction.
Srs is not like getting wisdom teeth pulled. It's major surgery eliminate any and all risks that can be avoided before getting on the table.
Smooth sailing ahead with fingers crossed.
Cheers... Jennifer

Carla, I'm sorry that your surgery has had to be delayed, but I agree with you that you have a good doctor and he seems to be looking after your best interests.
Still, 2nd December isn't that far away :hugs:

try to stay as calm as you can. Very hard to do I know. Do what you are told to do by the nurse and doctor before and after. Remember to rest after for as long as you can. You have a real life ahead now. one that will allow you to just move on and be the real you.

Wise choice....in the grand scheme of things, 3 more weeks is not that big a deal. It will go by in a flash. Better to have this done when everyone is sure you are strong and healthy.....
