Hi All, Yesterday Black Friday I blew my budget for dressing I won't be buying any Hi-Heels, pantyhose or bras
for quite a while, The camera store had a great black Friday deal on a new Nikon D-7200 camera body
that I have been wanting for a while .

I traded in my old Nikon D-90 and the shutter count was over 16,000 shots .~~...:daydreaming:...

There are so many more trains out there just waiting to have their pictures taken.

If you're anything like me, realistically, you have enough Hi-Heels, pantyhose or bras to tide you over.

Well Blue, I would say that the D7200 is a great trade off for a few months of not buys shoes and bras. I love my D7000, it goes everywhere with me. I have to say tho, saving up for lens is the toughest part!

There will always be heels and lingerie . . . but a great deal on a Nikon D-7200 doesn't come along often :) Enjoy all that great picture taking fun.

Cheers

That sounds like a good trade off. I've been looking at one myself. Enjoy yourself.

As Gibson used to say about their instruments "The satisfaction will last long after the purchase price has been forgotten."

I totally understand camera lust. I just blew a hole in my budget buying a viewfinder (I do video) -- it cost more than my first car! Actually, thinking about it, it cost more than any car I ever bought until I was 30. Fortunately, I have a deep closet to hold me until I can recover. ;)

I'm a choo choo! Shoot me! Wow, I am so dying for a high end camera for Carla shots. Grew up near the railroad tracks. When we heard the horn sound at the crossing, we would sprint to the cliff side vantage point at an abandoned rock quarry. Get some pictures of the Blue Orchid express.

This time last year I traveled 22,000 miles on AMTRAK.

CHI. SEA. LA. NOL. WAS. NY. Mntreal. BOS. and all the way back crossing the country.

We did all the main named trains except we did not go SEA to VAN.

Yep, I took a few photos and video as well. Frisco and the cable cars get in there as well.

I know how to get the most out of those 45 day passes.

These days you have to maximise each leg mileage wise.
