I told my friend that I crossdress today and it went well! I was shaking while i was typing the message to him, then waiting for a reply was so nerve racking. He is a few months younger than me and i was expecting him to either laugh or just cut me off. This is how the conversation went:

Me: Hey can i tell you something?
Him: Yeah sure
Me: I haven't told anyone this, not even my parents. I like to crossdress, I have done for years. I hope you are ok with me telling you this. You might think its messed up but it's something that i do.
Him: Of course im ok with it. I have no problem with it.

I was so relieved that someone who doesn't crossdress accepts me for doing this. He asked some questions about why i do it and he wasn't being rude about it. It was such a confidence boost. I thought i would share this with you.

Good for you, but were you ready for rejection? Putting this part of you out there is very risky but now that you have enjoy your freedom with your friend and when are you going to show yourself to him? Just always be honest with those that ask you questions that's how they learn. You've got a true friend there. Thank-you for sharing a positive.

That was great wish more people took it in stride. Those are real friends.

I've had more friends show their acceptance and support over the last month as I've opened up and discovered my true self. The one that hoped I was just a CD and not trans has been cut out of my life. I delete all their emails.

I think he is the most open minded out of my friends. I answered all of his questions with full honestly. And yes i was ready for rejection.

Its a shame that had to happen but if they wasn't going to fully accept you then that was the right call in my eyes.

That is great, my best friend would be cool with it, I used to do the piercings in his tattoo studio on call while I lived in Germany even gave him a P.A. that is close as I will get to another mans winnie, with a 2mm needle in hand lol. The guys at work, well I just like freaking them out, like to turn these rednecks woodworkers sense of reality upside down. The plus side where I work the safety/harassment guy his cousin is a TG or TV or one of them.

You don't need to tell everybody just the ones you feel will understand but be prepared if they don't.
Perfect strangers or co workers don't always need to know.

Awesome. Piercings are addictive lol. Ive had my ears done several times, i had my bottom lip done 18 months ago. Next I either want my septum doing or another one in my lip.

Thanks Tracii, I always prepare for the worst so the fall doesn't hurt as much.

I guess its a Capricorn thing lol. Did my Septum 2 times but it is crooked and the ring didn't sit right. I have 20mm plugs now but down sizing them, found a cute pair that looks like a flower with the hole in the center. I just have to now put some flowers or something around my 'guy' tattoos on my leg and add some color to my flames on the inside forearms.

I have seen some nice septum rings that look really cute. When I eventually get a tattoo i am going to get a skull with a rose and leaf that covers the left eye socket. The skull is going to be black and white but the rose is going to be in colour. Thinking about it now it represents both sides of me, the skull being my male side and the rose being my female side, so I love the idea 100 times more now.

That sound cool Charlotte.
Last nite email my bf with a pic of my nails and said next year is going to get weird, his reply, ' is there something you want to tell me buddy, seen that in another friend, he became a she.' So kind of gave him a run down on Genderfluid which fits me.

Great news and I 'm so happy for you Charlotte!

I once told my best girlfriend about it. Like you I was a nervous wreck but she turned out to be so supportive as well.

Guess not all people are bad and rude...and I also guess it shows who your true friends really are!
