Has anyone out there ever gone out in public in full male mode but wearing bright red lipstick? Full makeup? Etc?

Bright red is not my color -- femme or homme.

Not in full male mode I usually have on a woman's top and jeans that might pass for male, but as far as wearing makeup yes but not bright red I usually wear mauve lip gloss and when I say full makeup I am talking about foundation, face powder, light eye shadow, mascara a dab or spray of perfume and sometimes I will be completely under-dressed as a woman including a all-in-one body brief.

I, personally, don't ever feel the need to do that. :)

Mersades,
Do you mean intentionally or not ?
I've forgotten a couple of times now, both times when walking the dog ! On one occasion I stopped to ask some guys clearing some trees if I could collect the logs for firewood I didn't realise why they were staring at me until I checked the mirror back home !

I should have just said lipstick. Or any type of makeup that would be obvious upon more than just a casual glance. Perhaps a light shade of nail polish or obviously feminine earrings.

That's not what this is about for me.

I've gone out with red nail polish in male mode, but I stick with nude lipstick.

I often go out in skinny jeans, powder, mascara, faint lipstick, and clear nail polish...but full on Russian Red MAC lipstick...only when I'm carrying my purse and wearing my CK push up bra (crossing the line) 😉

I enjoy the feeling of putting on lipstick, but as I'm not 'out' I don't wear the real stuff. I do however, use lip balm (the bees wax stuff) which is colored but doesn't show up as colored once you have it on. so it kind of feels like I'm putting on lipstick but doesn't look like it. Stealth mode. My deoderant is the same; a fresh scent that a woman might wear but not so flowery that anyone would think it's a perfume.

I have not and can't see any reason to unless I wanted to shock people and have them think I was some sort of weirdo. It's Krisi or Homer, never "Kromer".

I have forgotten to remove makeup a couple of times but it had already been on for too long anyway.

I always carry wipes and remover for such occasions.

As for wearing it all done up as a male, no.

I have no political statements to make.

Nude lip stick most days - colored only when dressing up

Never bright red, that is not my color but with my color frequently. Never had a problem

I love the many shades of red but in our small town always make sure it is fully off before going out. I've found that it is easier to remove if I put on a natural lip color as a base then the red over the top. Usually just a couple of wipes and it is off and not noticeable. Getting outed by lip residue is not on my to do list.

Yes - by accident.

I had a terrific professional makeover session in Las Vegas - full nighttime makeup. I had dark lipstick, heavy liner, dark eye shadow, lashes, nails - real nighttime glamor makeup. I looked totally Las Vegas sexy and was shocked and thrilled at my transition. But when I finished being made up and tried to change into my nighttime outfit, I discovered that I forgot my wig in my hotel room! I was really shocked.

I did not change but instead, in heavy party makeup, drove back to my hotel on the Strip, parked, walked through the casino, waited for and used a crowded elevator - without a wig and wearing male attire.

I acted like this was how I always looked. I did not detect any stares, I received no comments - no one cared. It turned out to be a fun experience.
