My mom doesn't care.

I must have the coolest mom ever.

I was out Christmas shopping with my mom today. And I had been dancing around the "issue" of my cding for a few weeks trying to work up the courage to tell her.
We were at the food court of a nearby mall and I just tell her.
She told me that she kinda figured since she had found various undergarments in my laundry. She then told me her standard philosophy on my life. "As long as you're happy and it's not illegal, I don't care."
I don't know why I was so anxious about telling her. She has always just wanted to see me happy. My main concern now is that her boyfriend is somewhat conservative. So I may just have to stay hidden to him. I don't want my life to affect theirs.
Moral of the story: The second biggest hurdle in my life is over. My s/o knows and my mom knows. That's good enough for me.

I told my mom in the summer and things have been great since, when the homefield is in order life is much better.
If you live at home with the two of them ask your mom about what she thinks with regard to her boyfriend, my moms philosophy is ''if your family cant love you no one can'' so she should stick by you.

It's interesting how moms kinda know....my mom knew, then I told her and she was the same didn't care. We are watching broncos right now, I'm dressed. Have faith in those who are your true friends and they will stand by you how ever you present.

My mom's not really like that. She told me that she wouldn't say anything because it's not her secret to tell.
