View Full Version : Less self-conscious

Today was the third time I shopped in drab in stores and I'm finding myself continuing to be less self-conscious of my appearance and walking in the women's department section, knowing deep down that this department was truly made for me.

I'm still worried about people catching me than anything else so when I was shopping for bikini panties at Wal-Mart and Meijer, I had to be extra careful. I usually stick with Hanes since I've started wearing panties full-time and this time, I opened myself up to another brand--Best Fitting Panty--as they had size 7s with more assorted panties in shades of pink. I'm now up to 18 bikini panties and 6 hipster panties. I found that I really love bikinis--can you tell?

I picked up a navy cami today to go along with some of my other tops that I bought in person...seeing as how my folks know about me and still threw out or returned my orders. Probably threw out is a better phrase as I haven't seen anything refunded yet. It makes me so mad. I mean, I know that I'm trans but if you're in denial about that and only want me to CD, those urges never go away. They are always there. You can't throw out my orders and never have me find out because I have tracking numbers!

I'm not going to splurge too much more because my clothes need to fit in my suitcase when I move in a few months. If I do, my cousin offered her address as a place to mail items to so I may be taking advantage of that soon.

Glad to hear your confidence is getting better. I don't know how much longer you plan to stay where you are but I would get a.post office box or if your cousin is close by then take her up on her offer and use her mailing address. It's not right that you don't get your purchases, thats money down the drain. Hope everything goes well for you. Just keep nuilding your confidence level up. It will work out.

Either take up your cousin on her offer or find the nearest UPS store and make friends with the counter people there. Most internet vendors allow you a lot of flexibilty with shipping. If there is a UPS option you can have your items shipped to the UPS store for pick up, and most UPS stores also will allow pick up from other shippers as well.

Leaves me wondering how your parents would like it if their things started to "go missing".
I would say, just try on clothes, if you like them, then buy them (just don't take them home)
Best of luck

I'm moving at the start of February :)

I have next to zero privacy in this house. I couldn't even buy a cute pajama set if I wanted to.

If I had the privacy that I deserved, I'd have started buying a stash years ago and would have probably completely transitioned by now. But no, I just had to be forced to share a bedroom with my brother. Little did he know that he was really sleeping in the same room as his sister...

Tampering with the mail is a crime. They should worry about you getting bold and filing charges.

Amazon Locker doesn't even have a place to pick up items in this city! Thankfully, they have a place in the city where I am moving so I won't have to deal with that awful please sign for mail notice.

I'm sending all future purchases to my cousin's house.

I'm not sure if you've tried the thrift store experience. This is really the way to go as you really get bang for the buck and the SA's are accustomed to men buying dresses and bras and such.
And, anything that doesn't fit or work out, you just donate back.
