Well it's been two years since a shy, scared cross dressing lurker finally drummed up the courage to sign up... And OMG what changes those two years have brought. Just finished shopping with another poor supermarket check out chick not knowing where to look or what to say...

Boy clothes are being packed away, donated or thrown out, HRT is working well, my formerly bald head now has nearly a total cover of two inch long hair. Facial hair is gone, nails are full acrylics and ears are pierced.

Most of you know the ups and downs I suffered, all the result of denial, surpression and fear of accepting what I knew deep down I really was. Spent a small fortune on Psychs and councillors, l have found acceptance and happiness and see a wonderful future ahead. Ok work is being a pain, but I really could care less... It might just be the total change I needed.

So, as this New Year's Eve progresses I'm looking forward to 2016 with excited anticipation, my first full year as a girl.... I wish all my friends here the best, hoping your 2016 is the best year yet and you achieve all you want or need.

Congratulations Donna. I have been away from the forum for quite a few months (while re-engineering most aspects of my life so I can become Stephanie) but I remember some of your early posts about venturing out the first times and how challenging that was. You've come a long way baby as your current identity and avatar show!

As a fellow member of the "chrome dome" club, I have to ask about how you have started to reverse the baldness. (I have never heard of HRT alone reversing advanced baldness but if so I can be hopeful yet!)

For many of us 2016 will be one of TS milestones. Wishing you continued progress on your journey for 2016.

Congrats Donna!! I know that over the past couple of years, we have followed and supported each other's transistion. I know that your journey has had its ups and downs, but that you always managed to come out of the "valleys" stronger each time. It is good to see how well things are going now for you.

Here's to an exciting year, for the both of us!

This is of interest to me too. I was thinning at temples and monk's patch. I've only been on HRT for a few months and haven't seen significant change. I'd heard that different parts of the head react differently, and was looking forward to gaining at least a bit back.

Luckily, I can style my way around the thin spots and I've noted GGs with higher hairlines than mine!

Congratulations Donna! I look forward to hearing about your 2016. I have had some hair growth solely from HRT but I am not sure if this will be enough.
