Hello friends,

About ten months ago I made a courageous decision regarding my health and lifestyle, I decided to lose wight (I used to weigh 249 pounds and I'm 6 ft tall). After 6 months of strict diet and daily workout I finally hit my weight goal, I now weigh around 178 pounds.

Now this situation comes with advantages and disadvantages as well, for the good part I now feel healthier and sexier both in male mode and female mode, my self confidence was greatly boosted, and it's easier for me to find female clothes that fits me well.

For the bad part, I lost my chest fat witch used to be a great asset for my female mode. I now find it harder to underdress around my family and friends because I wear smaller and tighter male clothes that makes hiding bra stripes mark and vpl much harder.

Any comment/suggestion on this, is there anyone who had a similar experience? a how did you handle it?

Thanks

Oh wow, congratulations on losing all that weight.
I too have recently shed weight. Gone from 360 to 244, but I'm kinda bummed because my chest has flattened out. Still I feel way healthier, and can do activities I wasn't able to before, so it's all good.
Thing is, I'm underdressing, but I'm getting less discreet, taking more chances that people will see my bra lines. The only place I'm really careful is at work. But still, really nice going on the weight.

I too lost weight. Went from 260 to 240.
Would love to loose more.
I'm muscalure in build. With padded bra, pecks stand out really well. I wear a larger uniform or shirt to hide my bra.
I usually wear bra everyday. Lace top panties for sure. I'm just really careful who I'm around and avoid pats on the shoulders or back. Especially by GG's.
Gotten funny looks before from GG hugs but nothing has been said.
I'm going with it. If it happens, it happens.
Life's too short to sweat the small stuff.

Thanks Amy, congratulations on losing weight too.
Indeed weight loss made more active and even happier and more optimistic.
It's great feeling to not worry about being exposed as a crossdresser, I wish I could be as courageous as you :)

I encourage you to lose more weight if it's healthier.
Actually you turned my attention to this problem, my muscle appear more and are a little bigger due to working out.
Maybe I should try underdressing outdoor since it's winter in my country and I can wear thick clothes now. as you said, Life's too short to sweat the small stuff.

P.S: I love the top you're wearing in your avatar, It's so sexy and I should get one asap.

Hi Rose,

Congrats on the weight loss and don't sweat the chest aspect too much. If you continue to work out your chest muscles should develop a bit give you a bit of cleavage due to musculature. With so well placed padding in a bra you should be able to pull of a convincing décolletage :). Knowing your part of the world as I do, I would advise to exercise some caution when underdressing unless you are prepared to deal with those around you knowing and I don't get the sense you are.

Cheers

Marcelle

I don't think bigger chest muscles will serve my desired feminine look, and yes caution in my country is much needed (Although I have plans for more underdressing in public :-) ).

Thank you Marcelle.

Great job Rose! I'm just starting down that road. What type/s of diet and exercise worked best for you?

Great job Rose! I'm just starting down that road. What type/s of diet and exercise worked best for you?

My diet was low carbs, zero fat, zero added sugar. The daily workout routine was a 20 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training.
Free days were strictly prohibited but sneaked like 3 days in a span of 6 months.
My friends doubted my ability to teach my target, now I inspire them for dedication and strong self control.
I hope you be able to reach the weight and health state you desire :)

First of all, Congrats on the weight loss, that is fantastic.

As far as underdressing, wear what you like, if anyone ask,
just tell them that when you were heavier you needed support.
and now you don't feel comfortable without the added support.

Just enjoy your life.

A cute pink bra might not be convincing if seen but I'll dare myself and try to be more confident.
Thank you Raychel :)

Congratulations on the weight loss. I envy you on the reduction in chest fat.

I too lost a bunch of weight, about forty pounds, and am also at 178 pounds. But nature has payed a joke on me because now I have breasts. Not much maybe, perhaps A or B cup size, but they are definitely there. As a guy I am ashamed of them. In guy mode I can no longer go shirtless in the summer. I am self conscious and wear a T shirt even at the beach. I will never again be able to go shirtless. Even with a T shirt on they show.

As for girl mode, I would gladly deal with the no cleavage problem if I had the option. But since nature has given me a lemon, I tape up and have real cleavage. Making lemonaid out of that lemon.

Life is funny.

Rose,
You may find if you do it often enough they won't notice the difference, the more you do it the less conscious you will feel , I had to point out to my wife that I shaved my legs ! She made an odd comment the other day that I'd never fully pass, she was commenting on the size of my hands, I misunderstood and thought she was referring to my shaved hands and long nails, again she hadn't noticed, now I get sarcastic comments about being careful with my nails !

The benefits of weight loss far outweigh the downside, my loss wasn't intentional but it's great to buy size 12 off the peg and it fits !

As with so many others, I want to congratulate you on the weight loss. In the last half of 2015 I lost 30 pounds and feel great about myself; not just physically but emotionally. It is fun to go down in size as you lose weight and style options change. Once again, have fun with it. There are many ways to underdress and while you may have to change your approach slightly, much of the appeal (to me anyway) of crossdressing is the journey of discovery and exploration.

Happy New Year!

Congratulations, you just achieved something that is very difficult. So celebrate that. You will find solutions to your dressing issues. It will just take some imagination.

Life's too short to sweat the small stuff.

I have a friend that wears a back brace that has shoulder straps to hold it in place, so if anyone feels a strap or sees an outline, just laugh and say it's your back brace.

And congrats to all of you who've lost weight :) What a nice way to start out the year

I too, lost a huge amount of weight this last year. Of course, for me it was because of a major cancer operation (now cancer free, thank you) and after my recovery I discovered almost all my clothes were way too big.

I tried to be positive about this, took stock of my new body and made a number of trips to the thrift store... to donate my old clothes.

Then I went to my local Dressbarn, reserved a dressing room and went crazy figuring out my new wardrobe (a process that has continued - to the detriment of my credit card).

I did have to go to a smaller breast form and this took a small amount of adjustment... mostly with new bras. But for the most part, I just had fun with it.

Keep a positive attitude and have fun as well...:)

My feeling is that front=close racerback bras are easier to hide, but they don't seem to be common anymore. Maybe on eBay.

Nicely done with the weight loss. It's a constant battle for me - within the past few years I went from 365 to about 285, and then back up 50 pounds. At 6-2, I've always been heavy and have had manboobs since my teens. They've helped with my crossdressing, but I would rather be flat upstairs and have to use forms, since I'm en dude 99+% of the time ;)

September 2014 I started a similar diet due to diabetes. Went from 314 to 194 in a year and now just maintain. True, its harder to hide the bra straps, but its worth it for the increased style selections! Congratulations!

If you want to underdress, I would just continue to wear baggy male clothing, just in a smaller size. I have never seen a man's underwear make a line through their pants, just make sure the top doesn't peek out when you bend down.

In all seriousness, given where you live and what is going on there, I would really think twice about underdressing... skip the bra at least. Discovery where you are could be literally a disaster.
