This seems to be a bit of a recurring question... How do I do it myself?

This website gives a reasonable explaination the "art" of makeup (and it is an art to do it right). Of course, getting your colours done is another story. You either spend a lot of coin trying different ones or get an artist to help you.

Hope this helps answer a few questions.

BTW. It has a lot of annoying popups but get rid of them and read.

Kimberley.

Hiya Kimberley!!!

With regards to the site, excellent resource! Thank you for adding it. I have a growing bookmarks file labeled "Make-up Application". One day, I might even be able to do make-up correctly.

With regards to the pop-ups: Stop the popups by using mozilla's firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/central/). I was able to peruse the site without any popups.

Have fun!!!

Thank You Kimberly for giving me that link, there is some real practical advice that I could have never thought about on my own. I have'nt even started with makeup until I really understand it. I am going to let the specialists behind the cosmetics counter help me to choose the right colors.

Thanks for the link. It appears to be a very complete instructional site. The best part is, it not only tells you how to, but why.....BJ

Good idea. To make sure you get a good one.... look at her makeup first; especially the colours. If she is caucasion or asian and using other than a "yellow" based foundation, walk away...fast.:)

Kimberly, Nice find and thank you. You should also post this link in the Beauty Club as this is where most of The Forum members go for beauty tips and discussion.
