Dear, I have a question for you. What do you think of me dressing every day? She asked my why I would want to. I feel more like, me. The real me. Im more comfortable as Kassy. I feel more confident in myself. More natural.

Her reaction blew me away. She's fine with my choice to be Kassy. She wants to now help me with my makeup. And had me order a prettier wig. I'm so excited and grateful.

That's nice...now a little advice from a wife :) take it slow don't rush things with her go at her pace and both have some fun.

Thats a great wife you have there, but as Sandra said take it slow. You don't want her to change her mind and end up having problems. Good luck to both of you.

Kassy,

That is great news! And BRAVO to your wife.

I can so relate to your reasoning...
"I feel more like, me. The real me. Im more comfortable as Kassy. I feel more confident in myself. More natural."

Best of luck!

Hello! That's awesome!
Nothing like coming home after hard days work and getting comfortable being you!
Just wish I could be that way during the day everyday!

That's great Kassy! I'm happy for you. We here in Kandi land, aren't quite there together. I'm ready I think, but my wife is not. So for now I'll have to be happy with my limited but growing time. I hope it all works great for you as time passes, yay!

Wow! I'm so happy for you. I've been trying to get my SO to somewhat agree to my CDing for 25 years without any success whatsoever....and you succeed in a few minutes.... I envy you!

It's wonderful to have a supportive SO. I've been on both sides of that fence. Treasure her.

Hi Kassy,

So glad to read you have a supporting wife. However, as others have said . . . take things slow and keep communication lines open. It is easy to go full steam ahead when you believe you have full support but what your wife may see as fun right now might get a bit too real later so keep talking to her and make sure both of you are happy with the direction things may go. Not trying to be all doom and gloom gal but I have seen these things go off the rails quickly due to lack of communication.

Cheers

Marcelle

Kassy,
If you take things slowly and let your wife suggest things, instead of you doing the suggesting you will probably get along fine.

Patience is a virtue in cases like this.

Don't pressure her into something, you may mess it up.

You go, girl. And your wife too. I was lucky that my wife fell in love with the girl before she ever saw the boy. You two got to that boundary later, it seems. Please give her a big hug from the two of us, and don't you forget to do all those little things in a relationship that remind each other that you're lucky to have the bond.

You grabbed the brass ring. Now stay on the merry-go-round.

I could not agree with Sandra more!!! Take is slow and steady. Moderation is the key! We get those reigns taken off and want to run and be free! But life is a marathon, not a sprint! Slow and steady wins the race! And I am sure there are a dozen other trite phrases that express the same!
