This came up in another thread, and I thought it was worth pursuing.
Do you have a plan or a list of instructions for a trusted friend (maybe even your partner??) if you should suddenly die?
Even if you are as lucky as I am I to have a totally invested partner... what do they say/do about those odd questions about your legacy wardrobe?
What are they to do with it? Do they pass it on or get rid if it?
I'm 'old' now. I think of these things. I could get run down by a reckless Canadian Mountie tomorrow. Who is going to look after my SHOES?!?!?
Does it all get buried? Does it get passed on to a trusted soul? I have a plan...
What is your plan, honey?

MM,
Shame on you saying you're old, for some of us a CDers life has just begun !
As for the question it has come up before, I don't have any plans for disposing of my things , even if I did they wouldn't be the same as my wife's so she may have a ritual burning or just dump everything in the landfill bin ! By then that will be me and my clothes pushing up the daises !

When I die, I plan to not think about a thing!

Not to make light of this, but as I may have shared in other posts, most of my family is of a radically different faith than I am. I have like *2* family members (3 levels out) beside my children who have a clue who I am.
If it were just up to my clan, they would know nothing of me.

Nope, not a plan at all. Already know what's going to happen. The wife will take all my jewelry and take certain outfits that she likes then anyone else who might want some clothes and.probably throw the rest out.

Thought about writing one of those "For Your Eyes only" letter to my daughter upon my death telling her about Karen.I trust she would know what to do and who to tell.I may tell her in person before that happens though if I can find the nerve.

Another "what if I die" thread. Sorry, but I find this to be morbid and would rather worry about my living issues than my dying issues.

I'll be dead. So what would I care what people say?
"Did you know he did this?"
"No. You?"
"No."
"Huh."

Hi MM:hugs:, I told my:love:wife what dress and heels I wanted to be laid out in and she said, " Over my dead body"
I guess I'll be in a suit and tie. ~~...:daydreaming:...

Scarlet O'Hara captured my sentiment: "Why, I'll think about it tomorrow." When I'm gone with the wind, who cares.
