OK, kind of a survey, for those of us who are 'out there' 😃

I went into a lot of detail cuz I'm bored, please share as you will!

I apllogize if this comes across as 'narasist' but it's reality 😕 (speaking proactively to you cranky gals). I'll try to quantify...

1. Super hot women
2. Good looking women
3. Not so great looking women

4. Well dressed men
5. 'Tough' guys
6. Homeless men

Yah, reality sucks...here's my full list (cuz I started the thread)

Accepting:

1 It's a pity thing I think
2 I'm 'one of you, I can relate'
6 You look better than the Coyote that's been stalking me all day!

Not Accepting:

3 you can rock those jeans...you f...ng b...ch 😬
4 meh...😑
5 I'm insecure about my sexuality and being a raging idiot turns chics on! Right!? 😯

Hi Robin

I think for me it's I'm one of you so can relate for an accepting person and the insecure about sexuality raging idiot for not accepting lol But I don't think I could categorize people from most to least excepting that would be difficult but great for planning my week :heehee: I wish everyone came with a tag that explained enough about them to avoid or approach them now wouldn't that be great :)

As a person that is out in the mainstream world every day,I don't think you can measure acceptance. After all, other humans don't have to like you[cause they don't know you enough] They only have to accept your right as a human to be yourself just as they are doing. Many people have not got the concepts of gender and sexuality understood. Often, they muddle them and create a phobia out of it that only education might fix. But,they have no time for that so they judge what they see in front of them. Toleration, acceptance, and inclusion are really the only way to describe what we feel back as an alphabet kid. Open minds are accepting,no matter who they are. In the South, what "their church tells them" often is the controlling factor. But there are no angry mobs with torches and forks so a thick skin gets us by.

Robin - you've been up late again and this is humorous, right...? ;)

Unfortunately (or not...) we don't have coyotes here... and neither sheep nor badgers tend not to stalk homeless folk...

And your list is so full of detail it could easily serve as a Hollywood character stereotype list - so thank goodness for mediocrity amongst the muggles and I'll avoid answering further by declaring a 'not out there' status and just have another coffee... but personally I could give a rat's bum about who accepts and who doesn't - but you're not actually talking about 'acceptance' are you...

Hands down, it has to be most wives, girlfriends, and SO's.

Far to close to home for them, it intrudes on their comfort zone, and it exposes all kinds of insecurities that they might harbor - be it about their appearance, body self-image, sexuality, or sexual orientation etc., etc. Definitely a case of extreme NIMBY-ism, particularly when - by way of contrast - they can be pretty much "meh" when it comes to their attitudes towards other LGBT individuals where they are not personally affected.

Alpha males of all stripes as well as close family members who might be uncomfortable, "weirded out", or feel threatened by the whole TG thing would likely be next in line in this roster of "non-allies"...
