Wow! What a metamorphosis. It wasn't very long ago you were punching walls, now you're in the happy place you denied and suppressed for much too long. I'm simply amazed and happy for you as anyone can be. (as MsVal does her happy dance) If you were closer I'd give you the biggest hug.

Just as a tip, if you haven't got your original birth certificate you will need to get one in order to change your Australia Passport. I've just put my application in but didn't have my birth certificate as my mother had it and she has dementia so has lost it. Also take the change of name certificate and your recognition of gender letter to a lawyer / JP and get about half a dozen copies certified by them.
