View Full Version : I was seen but it was my choice!

My post lady rang the door bell today as there was something that needed signed for. I was in the kitchen wearing black skinny jeans that are obviously female due to the design and stitching, a black open shouldered jumper and black heels. I only had mascara and a very light pink lip gloss on my face. I don't wear a wig (yet). I panicked a little and took the heels off as I thought this would be too much, then realised my toes were dark red 😂. Anyway I am becoming less worried about what people think so just went to the door. I opened and she looked at me from bottom to top, I could see her thinking "well this is new" but she said hi and asked how I was etc. I signed and she left! I felt happy afterwards but then started to worry she will tell the whole village. But then stopped caring again! Another first for me 😊.

lol, well I wouldn't worry. I don't think your immediate neighbours, family and friends are going to find out so soon after this little unplanned incident anyway. Just enjoy this special moment. Just don't be overconfident if you're not ready to be though :)

Don't worry I'm sure she has seen it before, maybe even one of your neighbors crossdressed.

Peach,
Well done another little step !

I've opened the door now to delivery drivers but most of my post men are very friendly and know the whole village.
I'm not sure if they have a code of conduct about what they see, I may try and find out and perhaps put an update on the forum.

I second well done, you didn't hide, why should you in your on house. It won't be long before you're dressed and in the mall. Every little step such as this builds confidence.

It won't be long before you're dressed and in the mall.

Might be a whole day trip to find anywhere with a mall if Peach is away in the Highlands - perhaps longer if she's on an island... :)

Peach - you seem very happy and almost confident about the prospect of being outed...? Perhaps this is an indicator of just feeling good and right about expressing who you really are and that people will just have to accept that... Let's face it, it's not like your post lady will stop delivering just because your toenails are polished.... unless she's really jealous... ;)

Good for you feeling comfortable with yourself!

I'm not sure if I'd do this with the postman... small community and all. But I've often thought about doing it with the FedEx guy or gal (sometimes it's one or the other).

That scenario didn't quit happen to me. But hit a knock at the door about 5:30 in the morning. Truck sitting in drive way.
Me panicking and snatching my nightgown off. Throwing on some pants and shirt over my bra and panties.
Totally forgot my toes being painted and answered the door. Neighbor says hi, your horses are out and I put them in my pasture. The whole time I'm thinking; look at me. keep eye contact, don't look down don't look down.
I don't know if he saw my toes or not.
I told my wife I just got outed by the horses. Nervous wreck!

My postman , for months we used to just chat etc. etc., then one day i went to a meeting and yes my postie was there, and he only lived a few hundred yards from me and he was telling me about 4 other cross dressers he had on his round, small world

Hi Katey!

Haha not in the islands and not quite in the highlands but not far :)... Close to a big city actually!

Yes I'm feeling confident and even though I know the community I live in would probably not accept this I'm really starting to not give a s**t... Life is way to short! I just want to be happy, I want everyone to be happy. So I like girly things, who cares? I'm sure people in this climate have bigger concerns over the colour on my toes :)

Thanks for the replies and stories :)

I enjoy reading and relating to some of them! I feel like 95% of the people on here live in a more acceptable community though. I know that me doing this poses big risks to me as it wouldn't be accepted. Not a single care given today though as everyday I'm becoming more happy with who I am :)

Good for you Peach :)

ps, as in anything.. the more normal you behave and even ignore people in shock,
the easier it is for them to snap out of it.. I mean, for all you know she could be thinking "must not stare.. must not stare.. that dark red.. omg I must know where she bought it.. must not start..." COUGH.. "oh sorry what, yes.. post.. giggle.. here you go" :daydreaming:
