It seems silly, but this just gave me a big happy smile.

That's awesome Pamela! My daughter doesn't borrow mine but she does lend me her nail polish remover when I'm in a pinch 😉

I realized I was out when my wife said in front of her friend. "Don't you have some petti-pants that we could wear for out skit.
They were slip like bloomers women wore with dress shorts back in the day. Of course I did, and her friend brought them back and said I'm returning your lingerie.

It's not silly but wonderful that you have such a relationship.
My wife and I share makeup on occasions and the clear gloss nail polish goes to the first that gets to use it.

Ha! Fast forward 3 months and you'll be writing:
Why can't my daughter buy her own freakin' nail polish?? And how come the acetone bottle keeps evaporating??

Yeah Nikki, but then she did buy me the bottle in the first place ... smart girl!

See 'borrow', read 'take and return when there are a few drops left'.

my 7 year old (girl) is all the time playing in my makeup. she has not seen me dressed. she has caught me with a little bit of eyeliner and mascara on .
The other morning my wife was getting up early to go to work and asked if she could borrow my eyeliner.
