I'm sure we all have one, either on paper or in thought. What is on your "Girlie to-do " list? The idea came from a recent post I read.

I'm still thinking about some strappy sandals and a longer, wavy wig. Still can't quite bring myself to pull the trigger since I don't venture out of the house and seldom off of the second floor when I dress.

One other thing that has been floating around in the back of my mind is a truly "girlie" outfit... you know... one with lots of lace, bows, frills... the real deal. Maybe something like a short prom dress with white lace top stockings & bows or something along those lines.

But size becomes a barrier as "they don't make them big enough for me!" :( Maybe someday...

Well hanging out here I think my list is going to grow, I have a few things down I think, I have semi long hair atm, but its turning gray. To be quite honest I think the inner girl is starting to want to be out more. I know since joining here I cant remember being this at ease and comfortable with myself. I hope I can make some friends here. Ive been alone with this side of me far to long.

Mani/Pedi's are a wonderful experience and something that can be done in boy mode as well as girl mode so they are great for girls just getting out and about for the first few times.

I have been dressing for so long and I'm always trying to come up with new ideas. Here is a list of things I've already done beyond just dressing for fun alone.

Manicure with gel nails for added length
Full body waxing
Complete make over by pro stylist
Makeup lessons specific to me
Boudoir photo session
Burlesque dance class
Perform burlesque en femme in public
Bikini time at a crowded hotel pool
Trip with GG burlesque friends to Las Vegas en femme
Halloween en femme as bride with friends who don't know I dress
Halloween en femme went to strip club and got a lap dance

My suggestion to anyone is to try new things. It's fun.

Go out to a swish do so I could wear an expensive evening gown and it goes without saying arrive by limo.

Before that go to an expensive dress/gown shop and be pampered while trying on lots of said gowns.

Ears pierced, and a unisex hair style which can look feminine with the makeup and earrings I choose. Then dress up and go out for a day of shopping and an elegant restaurant for a fine dinner.

I just did a BIG one. I went to Casa Valentina (play) fully dressed: hose, heels, makeup, the works. Enjoyed the play, did not get lynched but the drive was a bear.

Top of my list has to be coming out to my SO. Once I have achieved that (and depending on the outcome) the next thing would be ears pierced, followed closely by an all over waxing.
Then my journey would be complete. I almost forgot, to become a 'member' of this wonderful forum. Having some photos on flickr would be good.

Well Ive realized I think I want a manicure, Ive never had 1! I see a handbag or a purse purchase in my future, I havent decide what type though.... I found a nordstrom clutch on ebay I like but the details are gold burnish, I prefer silver and that would also go with my current wardrobe choices. I know my hair needs addressed, I almost went to the beauty shop yesterday, my thought is a new hairstyle, Id like to say look at me and make me look good, your choice, something metro... pretty big step there! Sometime in the near future also thinking a makeup store trip, I know nothing about makeup and I dont want to make experimental choices, lastly I think I want a wig, gotta have some long pretty hair too, :doll: so my end goal is make some friends here to hang out with on occasion. I keep wondering if Im passable, whoa, lol, 1 step at a time.....

The full list is longer than I am tall. In heels. Below is the tip of the tip of the iceberg.

Topping the intangibles list is a matter of faith I cannot elaborate on here.
Second to that, embracing this side of me, an affair above coming to terms and accepting it for myself, both of which I can consider ticked off.
Third, to be able to describe this side of me more easily without making light of the issue's complexity.
Crossdressing in front of my family is completely out of the question now, so I burnt it off the list as I accepted its inevitability.

As far as tangibles go, a long straight wig that is easy to style ranks first. Not sure how I would look with that chignon I always dreamt of, however.
Breast forms and hip pads come to mind as well, for the sake of shaping and admittedly cleavage.
Facial hair removal is the highest bonus here at this point to curb beard shadow. I can still shave my body hair when I decide to.
As much as I find clubbing a massive waste of time, money and energy, to sit down in a nightclub while crossdressed and on holiday would be an interesting prospect.
A makeover would also be a great idea. Probably on vacation as well.

I certainly have many things on my "girlie-to-do" list but number one is to buy a really cute Lolita dress.
I've always been a sucker for bows, ruffles and lace and many that I've seen look exquisite.... super femme!
