View Full Version : My wife said "Nice pants!" (but leggings are not pants)

A few months ago I kind of got a little carried away on a leggings spending spree. I bought five pairs of leggings: three different patterned leggings, some faux leather leggings, and a navy blue pair of slightly loose leggings. I don't get many opportunities to dress, so I've been trying to get as much use out of my purchases as possible. I wore the faux leather leggings at Keystone, and I've been wearing my other leggings under my guy clothes as "thermal underwear." But now it's getting too warm for thermal underwear. I haven't been actively hiding this from my wife (she knows I dress and is fairly supportive, although she prefers not to see me en femme), but by coincidence when I've been putting the leggings on, she's been asleep or in another room.

Two nights ago, I wore the slightly loose, navy blue pair of leggings as pajama bottoms, that is without anything hiding them. At one point when I stood up the next morning, I saw her do a double-take, and then she said, "Nice pants!" I wasn't sure if it was sincere or a dig, but the kids were around, and I had to get ready for work, so I didn't follow up. When I got ready for bed last night, I put on the same leggings as bottoms again. Before bed, we engaged in some kissing and heavy petting, which included my wife running her hands up and down my leggings-encased legs. Afterwards, I said, "If that happens every time, I'll have to wear these pants more often." My wife agreed, "I really like those pants!" She has to know they are women's leggings, doesn't she? Unless she thinks they are men's dance wear that I am using as PJs. In any case, I'm not complaining, it's nice to have some women's wear that my wife enjoys seeing me in.

I wear leggings at home quite often, my wife has no problem with them at all, they're just an extension of the compression wear that I wear quite often when training. But they are just so much more comfy. With summer around the corner I'll be putting them away soon till fall.
