Last year while having dinner with a co-worker, the subject of Cait Jenner came up. At that time, I mentioned that I cross dress and even showed her my avatar picture. She had no problem with. Then last month when I was going to meet up with her and my boss in Amsterdam, I decided to wear my leggings and a tunic with bling on it. At the last moment, the co-worker was not able to make the trip, but my boss and I still had a fun extra day shopping in Amsterdam. She had no problem how I dressed when we were not near where the three day sales conference was. She did say that it should not matter how I dress, but with the new senior management it would be best to be conservative. Which I agreed with and planned on doing anyway.

Now this week, the same co-worker and I had to be a t a customer’s office for two days. So I flew into Newark from California and she flew in from Boston. Since it was Sunday, I decided to go fully feminine. Boots, leggings, a long tunic, make-up and even still wore my green St. Patrick ’s Day nail polish. We meet up at the airport, drove to the hotel and then went out to dinner at the Chart House where we were treated as two ladies out for dinner.

After the customer visit, we went back to the hotel changed and got ready for a girl’s night out shopping and eating. We had an absolute blast. She wanted to go to a specialty store that she knew of and we both immediately found things that we liked. The SA was very helpful to both of in suggesting and advising on what we were trying one. It was fun when we both came out of the dressing rooms and commented on the different outfits.

We had a great time at dinner, drinking, talking and sharing many things. She fully accepted me as a woman. She said the next time I have to spend a weekend in Boston (where the company is located) that I should stay at her house and we could have a girls weekend shopping. I can not wait.

Cool story, I doubt any of my 60 male co-workers would approve of me sharing the information of my dressing habits, they are more in to fishing, drinking and being loud

Richelle,
I know there are two sides to coming out and you showed how good it is to take that chance, what a wonderful time you had.
Your co-worker really is a great person. Personally how does it make you feel, totally like a woman or just feeling comfortable that your female side is being totally satisfied ?

Every time someone talks about Amsterdam I have to smile, it's a wonderful city but finding somewhere to walk safely proved the problem. If you walked on the pavement you had to avoid cyclist especially if they'd been on something, if you stepped out again you were possibly walking in tram rails , and step too far again you were in danger of being hit by a car, it's a crazy place and I loved it.

Yes I am lucky to have a great coworker and a boss that did not care how I dressed. When I was out with the coworker this week, I felt like a woman not a CDer. We even used the ladies room together had had conversations as we touched up our lipstick.

Yes, it was a challenge to walk in Amsterdam. At one point without realizing it I stepped into the bike lane and a very fast cyclists almost hit me and was yelling something I did not understand but I bet it was note something nice. But the van Goh museum was worth it
