It's been awhile since Stephanie had her time, so I decided to go away for 3 day weekend. I had an absolute wonderful time. I left dressed and stayed dressed all weekend. On Friday, I traveled and the girl at the hotel desk confirmed my name to which I responded "It's Stephanie today". She smiled and gave me the key. On to see my favorite rock band, Styx. Saturday was shopping at MAC Cosmetics for more foundation and to get any tips on how my make up looked. I felt good when she said it looked good, then told me to bring in 6 empty foundation bottles for free makeup! More shopping and travel to next concert, same band. Yeah, I know. Lol. To the casino for the concert. Made small talk with beer lady. I attached (hoped it worked) pictures of my outfit I wore. The usher was very nice to me as he took me to my seat. I got 2 comments about looking pretty and nice! That really lifted my spirits! Another lady walking into the restroom commented that she loved my shoes. They really killed me after though. Ugh! Ate in the casino afterwards. Sunday was my last day and I made the bold decision to go to Mass to which I did. After Church, I went antique shopping and lunch. I only had 1 issue all weekend when I had to go to restroom. I got surprised when I walk in and there were no available stalls so I had wait. A mother was in with her little boy and daughter. She was outside the stall and wouldn't you know it, time to talk. Are there any churches around here? Your dress is pretty. I'm sure I didn't respond well since I just wanted to get done and leave. Oh well, next time I'll hope to do better. I noticed people didn't really pay me any mind and many guys looked at my legs while in casino and not my face. One guy offered me a cigarette when I went to sit on the balcony for a minute. Not sure if he hit on me or not. I don't smoke so I said no thanks. All in all, I was very refreshed returning to work today. Thought I'd share my story.
Hugs to all,
Stephanie Lynne

I remember some of my weekends away in the early years, with great fondness.

I hope you will remember yours.

I feel they are special.

Yes Jamie, I love being out and about. I really can't explain the peace and feeling experienced while being out. Just can't get out as much as I would like.

You look great, certainly worthy of your confidence. Or is it that cofidence that makes you look so good. Sounds like a great weekend. Right up my alley. And Mass too! Your description really put me there. I can almost feel my ears ringing with Grand Illusion!

Alas, I don't see a whole weekend for Meghan on the horizon. So don't be a stranger, and regale us with more tales we can live vicariously by.
