A question for hetrosexual and bisexual MTF dressers. What physically attracts you to women and do you think it influences the way you dress?

Of course, there's much more to attraction than how a woman looks, but which do you prefer - boobs, legs, butts or something else?

For me, it's legs all the way. I'm sure this influences the way I dress as I simply wouldn't bother if I couldn't wear hose/tights, dresses/skirts and high heels.

I find long, exposed legs the most attractive feminine attribute. That is why I try to emulate that look while crossdressed. Yum.

mainly a leg lover, but the other parts of a figure, too, mainly the face and hair. But, my legs are my main highlight, long and gorgeous in panyhose.

Sarah,
Really interesting question, I would say the figure, moving down the legs to the heels. Also the hairstyle and how it goes with the face shape, I find I'm spending more time looking at eye makeup, how good or bad it is.

Overall I think I'm comparing the total package and comparing my own appearance when dressed, I tend to relate more to women of a similar shape to me.

Legs, at the begining I was atracted to pantyhosed legs, but I think I have grown out of the fetish. I admire and long for beautifiul legs, in skirt and nice shoes!

As a woman I have nice sized(not too big) boobs, hips and nice legs. Not sure if real gals influenced that or not but that's the way I want to look en femme. :battingeyelashes::)

I love legs and perky boobs butt number 1 is the butt.
I gym I do squats daily
And yea it does influence me the way I want to dress but also due to my long legs I like short dresses/skirts with pantyhose.

I never really thought too much about it. However one time while I got dressed for a Halloween party the wife watched. After I was done she stood next to me. She had heels I had not put mine on yet. She said "Hey we look like twins! I suspect you dress like the woman you are attracted to!" I had to admit she was right. I like blonde full breasted women with a hourglass shape. And there in the mirror we looked very similar and we laughed! So I would say my sense of what is attractive in women is the same image I bring to my female look.
Over the years this has led to the two of us being mistaken for sisters when I get everything right. Which I'll admit is a rare event.

Interesting question. I'm mainly a "boob" guy but as Jennifer I'm more of a "balanced package" type. Yes, boobs are important to Jenn, but she also wants to have a nice but and legs.

I would say legs for me, deifinitely. That could explain why I like having shaved legs and wearing skirts that will show them off.

I'm mostly a leg guy, but when I dress, there's not too much I can do about my relatively thick legs... I tend to focus on boobs when I dress mostly because they're more immediately visible to me, and it's the one thing that I feel separates me most from girls...

Well, since I like to try and look attractive when I dress, my opinion of what's attractive in a woman must certainly influence me. But I don't find there's one part that I focus on for all women, I tend to find a given woman attractive then focus on what makes me feel attracted -- it can be almost anything. Legs, hips and boobs, of course but it might also be shape of the belly or neck, graceful arms, compelling eyes -- it's different with different people. And I try to be all of the things that I have found attractive in many different women. But most importantly, I try to achieve that perfection for me, not for you or anyone outside me. I totally love it when other people do find me attractive, but that's frosting; it's not why I do it.

Interesting. I hadn't really thought about it, but I suppose what I find attractive is poise. That and elegance. Not sure I can pull off either of those so I like to emphasise relatively long slim legs.

Once on Saturday Night Live, Billy Crystal was in a skit playing Fernando.(You look Marvelous!) In his conversation with the other characters, he said he remembered what Fernando Llamas once said to him: "The breasts are for the Baby, the legs are for the Man" I'm a leg person as well.
I'm always getting complements about them en femme and drab! I wear shorts, skorts, dresses and legging when ever I can!

Sarah,

I would say that none of those drive how I dress. As a straight male, I like everything about women's bodies. But as a cross dresser, I don't have boobs and given I use forms, I can't show off any cleavage, so I don't really think about it. My legs are bikers legs but I think they look good in a skirt or dress, just very athletic looking. Other than breast forms, I don't use any padding or pushing or pulling. It's just me so it has to do.

I am a leg person. Because I happen to be somewhat leggy, I went down the dark path of particularly short skirts for a while. Shorts blend in much better, however. Furthermore, I don't have any cleavage or massive hips to show off; I don't even like the latter on me.

Pretty face and a skinny figure are equally important. Then it's pretty eyes, followed by long slender legs. I wear short skirts and dresses to put my long legs on show, after being told many times by girls that I'd have great legs for a skirt. I wear skinny jeans when I'm in boy mode because they are one of my better features. I think weirdly, I'm attracted to women who I would love to look like when I'm dressed, rather than dressing like women I find attractive.

I am a leg man, but more specifically a foot and 'cute toes in hose' guy. Met my wife at a party in '87. She was wearing hose and by the end of the night took her heels off. She had, still has, adorable feet and toes. Sadly she rarely wears hose anymore. This has no effect on my dressing.

Anything about a woman that can contribute to a sexy look appeals to me. That can be legs, hips and butt, breasts, hairstyle, a great smile, eyes, or just an overall curvaceous shape. But from as far back as I can remember, it's the boobs that have always held the most power over me. And since becoming female was always a matter of becoming the kind of woman who appealed to me, the female me always had to have a nice rack. Sometimes at home, I would equip myself with an absurdly gigantic set of bazooms, and have some fun with that look. For going out in public, though, I had to tone it way down--38D was the biggest I could do, and still be believable. That size, on my fairly slim body, helped to compensate for my shoulders, which are a bit broader than the average woman's, and made me a very curvy girl. I loved wearing short skirts, and when I learned how to pad my hips and butt, I was delighted with the resulting improvement in my figure. My makeup skills improved over the years, and helped me create a fairly believable look. But what I loved the most, what I was most proud of as a female, and what gave me the most pleasure was the look and the feel of my chest.

It looks like legs are a clear majority. I once heard the expression "she has legs all the way to her ass". I've always admired a fine butt in tight jeans but legs come in a very close second. Never thought about this before but I sure do love stockings whether self supporting or with garters holding them in place. What a delicious sight.

I am a leg man as well and believe that mine are my best natural asset. I wear hip and butt pads and forms to create a female shape. I have always been drawn to women's legs and shoes, so that is where I tend to focus my dressing.

I would say yes that it does influence me. This influence is not always good because the clothes I like on women, i.e. what it accentuates and shows off, is not necessarily what looks good on me. Perhaps being a hetero male, I've spent too many years fantasizing and you could say even sexualizing women when it comes to clothing (I like the look of women who wear dresses, pantyhose, stockings, garter belts, nice heels). I have to admit I'm a leg man/girl. Yes I have been told I have great legs.

As someone else mentioned above, I too wear forms and can't show cleavage. So I try to purchase blouses that cover that area, rather than risk exposing my silicone, if you know what I mean. Although I love a revealing top on a GG, I can't wear them myself. Does that make sense?

I absolutely love legs and feet in hose, and that has fully translated into my dressing. I was en-femme for a meetup tonight and spent most of the evening barefoot in fishnets. I couldn't see myself buying a closed-toe pair of womens shoes.

The one thing that I like a lot about the women I've been with, is that they've all had beautiful, long hair. It's one of the things that I see as feminine. When I was a teen, I had really nice long hair myself, which played a part when I crossdressed at that age. Today, for me, wearing a long hair wig is a big part of what helps me identify as female while I'm dressed up.

As a guy I've always been more of a boob man but since dressing I've become more interested in the whole package and especially come to appreciate legs a lot more. I love nice long legs in hose and just love wearing dresses & skirts with heels (not too high for me). I always thought the bigger the boobs the better but prefer a C cup when dressing as they provide a much more balanced outcome.

I once heard the expression, shes got legs all the way to her ass. That said, I've always kinda considered them a whole package butt if we're differentiating then I just love the looks of a womans butt in a tight pair of jeans. I love to look at and wear stockings whether self supporting or with garters.

I do admire a nice set of boobs as well, but overall, butt man. I mean girl.

Yes, that makes sense, and sure, you can't wear a low-cut top, or expose that lovely bulge of above-the-nipple breast-flesh that women are so lucky to have and that very few of us can simulate. But a tight top can still be revealing in a wonderful way. You can still let the world see the shape of your breasts, and you can still have the thrill of letting them jiggle and bounce as you walk, proudly displaying them.

Leg person. That's why I enjoy wearing 4" pumps and pencil skirts and a boob guy although I scaled down from a 38DD to a 38C, primarily because whenever I dressed at home my wife was always looking at my chest. I had to reminder her that my eyes and brains are "up here?"

I think it's the rare woman who has it all. But most women have something about them that really makes them attractive. If I had to choose the one thing that attracts me first it would be boobs and that is probably the reason I lean towards bigger breasts when dressed. Then again if a woman doesn't have an exceptional bosom she may very well have great legs, or a perfectly shaped butt. I know a woman who is larger than she would like to be and is constantly fighting her weight, but she has an absolutely gorgeous face and personality and in her profession is exceptional. After you visit with her for awhile you spend all your time listening to a very smart woman and staring at gorgeous eyes. Everyone has something special about them.

I would have to say I am attracted to a woman mostly by boobs, but the rest is important as well. Obesity turns me off regardless of boob size.

If I were actually a woman, I would want to have large breasts and a nice figure. As a crossdresser though, I selected smaller, more average boobs (forms) so I would more easily blend in with the crowd.

I don't want a bunch of guys saying "Man, look at the boobs on that chick! Oh wait, that's a dude!"

When I was younger ie sub 22 years, it was all about the boobs.
As I got older I started finding more and more appreciation for the ladies deriere.
Then legs, then tiny wasits, slender but curved neck lines... I think a lot of people appreciate more and more features as they age.
(I'm about to sound like I believe that the person behind the body is irrelevant, but if anything it's equally if not more important.)
But I think it's just far better to look at the full package how do her hips relate to her shoulders?
How narrow is her waist in relation to her bum and boobs?
What are her legs like and how much of her overall height do they account for?
Pretty cold way to look at women, but this is only part of the admiration I have for women, I just want to make that clear :)

However, analyzing the ideal female form, (or at least my opinion of the ideal form), in this way definitely changes how I dress and how I present my body.
I dress in clothes I see women of the 'ideal form' wearing when I like the style.
I'm a sucker for dresses and skirts because I view these to be the most feminine attire that's easy to wear. ie no stylish playsuits - Nightmare to go to the toilet with (My wife tells me so )
I wear my hair fairly long as I find the shorter a ladies hair is, the less 'feminine' I view them to be in general (exceptions are out there though).
I cinch my waist line to imitate the natural curve that women have in the waist, at least it does in my 'ideal form'.
I would also like to try hip/butt padding, but I am put off because I think I would find it more of a hindrance than a help when sitting down.

I like the emulation stuff as long as it doesn't get in my way. (although I did learn to type okay in nails...)

Given all this I like to wear clothes that 'show off' my reasonable level of emulation to their fullest, so it's usually a body-con dress, a peplum, skinny jeans or leggings with a nice top....
But something else I'd love to try is a nice 50's style swing dress with a little bit of cleavage and a fitted waist with a cheeky petticoat underneath (Im loving the rockabilly/retro style thing at the moment).

I guess how I dress really does come from a shallow place most of the time. dressing in what I view to be attractive.
But it comes from a place of absolute worship of women, my wife will always be the only one for me, but I dress to look my absolute best because I get dressed once a week, not every day.
It's okay for people to go out for the night looking their absolute best once a week, so I believe its also fine for me to look my feminine best.
I don't like getting dressed up in drab mode most of the time. I just feel like women get the better deal when it comes to glamming up and changing how they look,
with only the aid of clothes and makeup, hairstyles, nails, shoes... everything I love the most about dressing.

Some may find this to mean I dress for sexual reasons, a sort of narcissism. Hmm, perhaps,
but I don't focus too much on this because that's not who I am.
Remember, if you dress for 'how you feel your best', it's never a bad thing.
If you work hard to look as feminine as you can, and you feel your absolute tip-top best for your labors, then you can wear what you like (within reason :p)

I went on such a tangent, I'm posting this on my blog LOL.
It's live now, link is in my sig ;)

Yes being a fan of big boobs does influence my dress, but as Samantha-smile posted I too as I have become older pay as much attention to my derrière. Some of my best photos don't even show my breasts. A great set of legs, hot hair and well applied makeup complete the package. I will always feel that I am more attractive with an ample bosom, but have over the years found that for me it's that complete package thing is what makes me most happy when I dress.

Boobs, legs and butt, but if I have to choose, it would be legs. When I see women with sexy legs in tight pants or wearing pantyhose and high heels, my heart always starts ticking faster. This attraction to female legs definitely influence how I dress in female clothes. I also think I wouldn't even bother wearing female clothes, if I couldn't wear skirts, tight pants, pantyhose and high heels.

Now I love to get the lower looking more feminine, hip pads (dresstech) and a coset I love.

Strangely, I like smaller boobs on a girl and I love nice toned legs but my real passion is for a butt that extends out a little, I think it is the sexiest thing in the world. It influences me enough that I do the Brazilian butt lift work out, and it is a work out. :)

A two part question.

I thought I would always fall for a long legged blond. So, who knocked me off my feet? A five foot two brunette woman. Her proportions were just right for her height and weight. What was the influence? I guess it is the "total package." I've seen some women with one asset totally out of line with the entire body. I know there are men who prefer extremes of an asset, but????

Has there been any influence on me? Probably. I'm six foot even now. Down from six foot one and a half. I try to keep it proportional. I do not use any sort of enhancements other than a bra which is a 'C' cup. I've seen some exaggerations of the breasts and I do not find them attractive at all. In fact I know of two women who have had breasts reductions because of their weight and the strain extremely large breasts put on the body. Everything is good in moderation.

Thank you everyone for your very interesting answers. Totalling up the scores gives a very interesting result, especially when you compare it against a survey of the general public by the Mirror newspaper in the UK (Click here (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/forget-boobs-bum-its-angles-5283879) and scroll down).

The survey is ongoing, but when I did it, it showed the following results when compared to our little survey of sorts. (For those in the US, butts means bums in the UK!)

Of those who had a preference:

CD.com vs The male muggle

Legs 49% vs 12%
Boobs 31% vs 43%
Butts 15% vs 40%
Other 5% vs 5%

Obviously, this is completely unscientific, but could it suggest that 'leg men' are more inclined to crossdress? It's certainly contributed to my desire to dress. My dressing has always been based around hosiery from age four through to now. Hosiery is a very obvious thing that separates male clothes from female clothes and has the affect of making a woman look more glamorous.

As I say, it's not scientific, but it is interesting how much of a different result we got.

Lori Kurtz
04-16-2016, 08:40 AM
could it suggest that 'leg men' are more inclined to crossdress?

Well, yeah, but it also could suggest that crossdressers are more inclined to be 'leg men.'

Whatever ...
Thanks so much for your effort in tallying up the results of our responses, and making this comparison to the muggle world.

However anyone else might choose to label me, I remain forever a boob man. Boobs rule!

1.) Face (by far.)

2.) Butt.

3.) Boobs.

4.) Legs.
