Q on Corselets

Hi everyone I need some advice, my wife got me a panty corselette,but I find it a bit uncomfortable and impracticle, I was thinking of switching to an open bottom version, does anyone have experience of this or could suggest any other practicle firm control all in one garment.

Not exactly sure what it is, but if it's like a panty girdle, it will help hide the bits and peices. As in tucking.
