Ok I am ready and excited!

Ok I have had time to cry with my wife. Now it is time to step into the next phase of this journey. I have started surgery prep and will be at the hospital at 6 am. I can hardly stand to wait the next 19 hours or so. Thanks everyone for the support I have received since I first came here. It has been so important to really believing this could happen. So I will post after surgery I hope!!!

OK, an unofficial and un-sanctioned update! She got out of surgery a short time ago (maybe 6 PM California time), groggy and I believe very happy. The doctor told her wife that everything went great. I will let her tell you more when she is ready.
