Not quite Suzanne's high (Or LoriLeah's or Anne's). But at the end of last week, I got the call from Bower's office. Confirmed for July 27th and sent me all the paperwork. I also got past my one nerve wracking action, getting the money into my account. I had visions of something going wrong and then I couldn't pay. I am booking my flight for the 23rd (plan to see whoever is up for a visit out there!) and should do all but the medical paperwork this weekend. I just happened to have an appointment with my GP next Friday, so that timing worked well. Time for the anxiety to start to skyrocket! Watching this run of everyone's dates hitting is raising it a bit too. I believe we have one more before my date comes around. Busy season.

Sue,
I'd love to have a visitor. On the 23rd I'll still be in the hospital in SFO still but you know...I'm not going anywhere and it's probably a lot closer than when I'm chilling in my apartment for a few weeks after I get discharged....assuming I don't die on my big (private) day.

Message me when you get to town.

I'll not be making any thread post here - that's for sure.
I'm done with that nonsense forever since last August.

Congratulations

Looks like your flight has closed the door and backed away from the gate, Sue! I know of four others on the runway ahead of you, but so far it looks like your ready to go. Hope you sail through with no problems!

Four others? I am very happy for them and now I have some more triggers for anxiety. :heehee:

Wendy, I will certainly look you up. We are coming early to sightsee a little and visit, so time is flexible.

2016 is the year of the vagina. All my friends seem to be getting one. Three of mine are back from Montreal recently.
The time is going to fly now. Great news, and big congrats!

Congratulations Sue. Now time will drag until that important date. We have a well established informal welcoming and support group here in the Bay Area. We will be there for you. Keep in touch and keep us posted.

And waiting, and waiting.... :heehee: Paula, I agree. I don't think I have seen this many forum members fit in one year.

Allie, I would love to meet you too! I cherish putting a personal visit with those typing here as it seems so much easier to connect.

I don't talk much about general life things, but I have been getting pounded with negative life events lately. This was a needed pick-me-up. And I had electrolysis today and had my first full clearing that was 30 minutes or less. This was only the 5th appointment since getting under an hour, so it is encouraging. Lean on the positive!

Fantastic news Sue. 2 1/2 months is a nothing wait after all the other waiting you have done.

It will pass quickly Sue. Then it will be here. Enjoy the area, it is gorgeous. The big city is hectic but fun. Save some sight seeing for the week after, it really helps but don't over do it. The SF gang is AWESOME!

Lorileah, I tend to have my mind locked into as little movement as possible in SF other than maybe going out to eat or visiting everyone. Sightseeing sounds like a lot of walking. :D I guess my main rule going in is, lay around until stitches are gone. Your experience would be very helpful there.

Jennifer, it is quite the large class!
