Looks like a great list that covered just about everything! But after reading that, I'm too tired to get dressed..

Good list. Especially some of the things that aren't so fluffy like safety and getting recognized..... Crossdressing can be wonderful but.....

A lot there! All good advice, for sure. I also made the mistake of not getting two motel room keys, and locked myself out on the third floor of a place, while dressed up. Embarrassing moments. Gaby, Number one is so important. Cd can really take over a guy's life, if he lets it, and things can get way out of balance.

Gaby, wow, long time no see! Remember talking to me at Donna's many years ago?

I'd add, when it comes to restrooms, try to plan ahead and see if there is a private bathroom (single user of any gender, or a family restroom) available before you go. It is better to avoid the issue entirely, go around an an obstacle rather than trying to go through it. Sites like refugerestrooms.org make it easier to know before you go.

Hi Gaby:hugs:, That is a great list it should be chapter #1 in The Crssdressers Handbook .

Another thing that will help when shopping in the ladies dept. ,
Don't make direct eye contact with other shoppers,

Back in the old days that is what would do, now I will even acknowledge other shoppers ...:daydreaming:...

A sticky is a permanent section in a forum at the top of the forum posts containing useful info.
Yes this needs to be a sticky.

Donna's? Bordering on ancient history. Note my current location...

For folks in and around Ithaca, NY there is an iPhone App called Pee In Peace. It was created by Planned Parenthood of the Southern Finger Lakes...

Gaby this is an excellent thoughtful post. I agree that this information should be a sticky so that it is readily available to all.

Such great advice! Much better to have it up front than from 'The School of Hard Knocks!' It's so much easier to take advice from somebody with more experience. THANK YOU!
