a most fabulous birthday - a first for jennifer

my wife arranged a birthday party for me and virtually insisted that i dress.

i was hesitant at first but with a few hours until the party, i dressed....white blouse, pearl necklace and earrings, red capri pants and my 4" gold heels.

party was a wonderful success, sumtuous food, perhaps too much champers, dancing and hugs all round

i was in awe of the acceptance and the compliments

my younger son is taking me out to dinner (en femme) tomorrow night...planning my outfit now

i feel truly blessed

i hope all of you have the opportunity for such good fortune...if you did or do please share

My daughters wanted me to celebrate my 70th birthday with a party. So, I have about thirty people attending at a local pizza place. Your party sounds more exciting to me. Lucky you! I am seriously considering giving myself a present by having a personal shopper work with me at Nordstrom's and then getting a make-over at their MAC counter.
